It never occured to me to look for porn in the woods - I just stole it from people who I babysat for. It's the perfect crime - how's the dad going to accuse me of stealing the hustlers he's hiding from his wife without her finding out?

The waterfall IS a bit silly, you've got to admit. But no one who grew up in Denver woud ever call it ridiculous. And even if you did, it's certainly not nearly as riculous as the food there is shitty.
A cat's not a logical choice for anything. Why keep a pet that thinks it's better than you? In the future, we'll have dogs trained to shit on the (non-existent) toilets.
I suppose if you really want to be different than everyone else, you may have a Ferret. At least they'll play with you and occasionally follow…
Data's Lie
I'm beginning to think that Data's playing it both ways a little bit regarding his emotions - he claims to want more emotions, but whenever he experiences them he tries to hide them behind a veneer of stoicism.

Present tense works for me. I think it works well with the mostly casual tone of the reviews.
yeah, but the appeal of unrated comedies is extra titties, which goes well with comedies and action movies. I don't know that the salacious "Unrated!" marketing tactic would fit so well with this movie.
@ Steve- yep, I've named myself after my dog. I got the picture of the internet though, I didn't have any digital pics of hercules handy at work when I registered. Ene of these days I'll update it to the Genuine Rockefeller, but I've yet to get around to it.
And Borgnine DID use Sam's name, at the end (as well as asking how he was at the beginning). I don't know if things like that are common in interviews, and they're normally just edited out, but I can't recall having seen an interviewee making a point to be polite to the interviewer like that before. Even in everyday…
That makes me wish my name was Ernest, just so I could introduce myself with "Ernie's the name, if you will". That's as bad-ass as anything else he could say, but classy as hell at the same time.
@lordflashheart- how long's it been since you've read them? I reaf them once every 5-6 years or so, and I find that's enough time for me to forget about some of the details enough for them to feel fresh again. That, and some of my perspectives on life in general have changed at least a few times since I first read…
The story about the pack of cookies is worth reading the 4th book alone. It's probably not the most original joke, or all that hilarious all on it's own. but the way Adams builds it up to the climax is simply superb. Overall I think I'd take "So Long, and Thanks for All the Fish" over "Life, the Universe, and…
Alyxandr - I felt the same way sometimes until my wife bought me the beatles box set for my birthday last year. Hearing them as albums really makes a difference, IMO. I'd always heard about how "Revolver" was considered to be such a great album, and it always struck me as overblown boomer nostalgia. Now it's one of my…
Maybe his drinking buddies in ten-forward? Or Geordi, who's so nice he gives a phaser back to the Romulan who's holding him hostage. other than that, no one that I can think of. Even Data looks like he's seriously considering it in "Offspring"
I think his point is that Halo's overall value is greater, when you factor in the stuff like nerf guns and shot glasses. That, and Microsoft's ability to leverage Halo to launch both the Xbox and the Xbox 360. I don't thing a console has been so sucessfully promoted by a game since the original NES and Super Mario…
I think console loyalty mostly stems from that fact that most people can only affford to buy one (especially once you factor in the cost of accessories and games). It ends up being a fairly major purchase for people in their early 20's, which is where a lot of the console loyalty begins. I was always a Playstation fan…
That's the advantage of being a basically decent guy. There are so many shithead absentee and/or deadbeat dads out there, that if you're a halfway decent father you look good by comparison. Every now and then you can get stinking drunk and pull some dumb shit, and your wife/girlfreind/baby mama is probably going to…
See the difference between the two is, I buy Picard bluffing his way out a fight becuase we know that's what he does well. And most Klingons aren't usually as predisposed to fight so much as they are predisposed to bluster. So you can make a bad ass comment, earn a bit of respect, and it's all good. But fighting off…
I'll take Worf telling Kurn that he must turn his back as resolution enough. It avoids having go through a whole bunch of awkward getting to know each other, it's emotionally resonant, and it still leaves the door open to Worf and Kurn getting to know each other better later on, if only Worf can find a way to get…
