Most places don't sell DRM'd up mp3's anymore so I don't personally see that big of a difference between having my MP3's on my harddrive which I ripped from the CD or buying them from iTunes or Amazon. The legal language of ownership aside it doesn't really make that much of a difference or any at all in how I listen…

I still buy CDs but I feel like I'd buy so much more music if digital was an option for me. It's cheaper (in general), it doesn't take up physical space, I don't need to rip music etc. I'm limited in my options though. Amazon MP3 would be my best bet but it isn't available in Ireland. I could just buy through itunes…
