The blade caught in the middle of Polliver's face, and when the Hound wrenched it loose half his

@avclub-df1e0236446701781694ff3350b618ec:disqus Maybe it was because I watched the first season before I read the book.

@avclub-ef47f964f26ee487d5bdb8ed96d5984f:disqus Oh, I think it was just the comixology app.

@avclub-ef47f964f26ee487d5bdb8ed96d5984f:disqus I actually remember a friend of mine showing me some comic pages she was working on on an ipad. I'll have to ask what ipad app she uses.

I get not wanting to watch movies on an iphone but have you ever tested an ereader? I was the same until I got one as a gift and it is way easier on the wrist (one of the first things I read was a Storm of Swords) and checking footnotes is so much easier (I'm looking forward to reading Infinite Jest for one). I still

What file format? Because there might be a plugin you could download that would enable it to work.

The point is it isn't more accessible or better. The difference in image quality for one and the disparity in broadband speeds for another. If netflix opened up the disc service here in Ireland I'd sign right the fuck up. But as it is, the broadband

I've been doing more and more of my reading on an ereader. Mostly because I don't really have space for any more books. The last one I bought was the hardcover of A Storm of Swords. Thing is frigging huge but it's the only one I could find that wasn't split into different parts.

Do they only send out one disk? Or do you get a whole season?

@avclub-fc79ab52a86965408d9a2cfd13fcef69:disqus Just push through the first book. A Clash of Kings is so much better.

I just finished reading the third book. I had to re-read that part because I literally didn't believe what was happening. He really pulls the rug out from under you. Fucking can't wait to see that depicted.

@avclub-db0c35ce2663c0e8c4b3f38642a49748:disqus I laughed when I read that GRRM wrote that part last because it was so upsetting to him.

@avclub-951d3e731b6b2ac1e93cbba6e1b68e80:disqus Yeah, you can enjoy it as an adaptation without trying to figure out who's who. Plus bitching about who they cast as who and the changes they made is part of the fun. (Tyrion should have a beard this season dammit.)

I just finished A Storm of Swords recently. It. Fucking. Ruled. Enjoy @avclub-5fdf887dbddc237ba8c489a45c8ad53f:disqus !

YOU'RE NOT MY SUPERVISOR

@avclub-4caf6aa0375b2499ebfe7e971b36eee3:disqus Ah, yes. I liked that they felt more confident in adapting the material as they went along. Hopefully Season two will be strong out of the gate.
