Simple trick.  Just view the characters and story in the realm of geo-politics.   Take names literally.   Robert California represents with the state of California, or the essence of California, or some corporate entity in California.   View Gabe as the Archangel Gabriel  and off we go . . . .

She was throwing people under the bus (but doing it all sneaky like, not directly calling them out to the judges, but maybe bring something up that would then draw the judge's attention to someone.

I found Sarah to be conniving, especially in front of the judges at the end.

This episode was pretty good.   A high amount of funny, which is important criteria for a comedy.    Also to criticize an ensemble show for having an ensemble episode is kind of disingenuous/shitty.

I found this episode to be the worst of this half season.   Not many laughs.  Nothing much happened  (which is okay if it garners laughs.)

maybe the point of the band part was it sucks when you and your friends are having a good time, trying your best, maybe not sounding the greatest and you want to impress someone or get their opinion   and then they invite their friend and take over and are better than you, and your left by yourselves . . .

12? bah funny as if  who has 12 friends.  your lucky if you have 5

yeah normally (  ) indicates extra true info,   maybe brackets!!!!  [  ] ?

It is truly funny though

I saw this episode and was intrigued, and wanted to watch the previous ones.  But alas, not available.   Oh well

What was up with the I'm a Stud  guy.         Very confused

the line about a childhood without tumbling  was pretty choice

overproduced fakey musical numbers.           dis-encognates the viewer from the picture.

The Rock 2: Electric Boogaloo

Please don't draw WonderShowzen in to this

redbelt my friends

Bender knew why he came back   he just didn't want to admit it

Couple things:  The only board I got a clear look at to try to analyze  was the one on the cpu monitor  (Girl Sterling vs Random Opp)   All the other games, it was form weird angles, camera circling around, in between moves (or many moves) so while sometimes it looked like something (i thought it might have looked

yeah NattyBLues is correct.   The original argument is about JFK

Also, just a pet peeve, but its annoying when shows/movies base a plot somewhat around chess and then show a game in progress that doesn't make sense.  There was only one game (the one they showed on the cpu monitor where Bad Guy bet he knew what move his daughter would make)  and while her move makes sense in context
