cold opening
I really enjoyed the cold opening tonight. It was very funny, had me cracking up. Good comic timing, and good editing. Kudos!

i liked this one
The satire, sorry, parody of the episode was obvious, but that was the point. The shoe was filled with laughs and stupid humor, which is good sometimes. It made fun of people that are okay to make fun of and sort of have a good message about relationships, and gender roles. Mayhaps I am reading to

pacing and jokes
I don't know what you guys mean when you say the pacing is off. Even if the jokes are as you say "terribly predictable," they were still well thought out and still very funny. I was cracking up by myself several times near the end.

Rabin is correct on one point
