Heh heh. "Large and ever-growing annals."

I'd Waltermatthaubum that, if you know what I mean (I don't know what I mean).

Given that this was a rape episode with a Ghost Dad, these comments are remarkably light on Cosby references. I'm not sure if I'm proud of you guys or disappointed.

Always assume irony.

Did anybody else think The Mistress made a pretty good Joker?

How is there not yet a band called Shy Bladder Community?

Who else is waiting for "Age of Ultron 2: Rage of Voltron?" That would be sweet, right guys? …Guys?

Do any of the heroes in the current MCU have secret identities? The whole disclosure and registration issue was so important in the comics. Without that, it's hard to see the same privacy issues at stake. Unless they bring in the Netflix stuff…

Yay! Closure at last!

RIP Richard Kiel. And RIP my hopes to make a film in which Kiel, Clancy Brown, and Ron Perlman have a ninety-minute Face-Fight, whatever that is.

There's a pretty great version of "Who Do You Love" by Bo Diddley and Los Lobos on that soundtrack, too. Simply a factual statement, apropos of nothing else.

I can never reconcile that the same man made this as made Salo. Salo is the only movie I've ever seen that's made me physically ill. And I've seen Bob Saget in Father and Scout.

So many kinds of offended to choose from! It's like some kind of, um, buffet or something.

Am I the only one who read this as saying they announced Community was canceled too? Also, am I the only one who whistles during sex?

They should call it "Ken Jeong: ILL."

As someone coming to this having only seen the Children's Hospital episodes currently available on Netflix, I thought I would comment on how perfectly a whole fake season-plus of reviews exactly like this one would fit the show, had it been cancelled at the end of season 2.

"Written as a reaction to two recent deaths—John Lennon’s and her
uncle’s—it’s aggressive instead of mournful, a tombstone cut from black
glass."

I remember listening to this song as a kid right after I learned how to play unison bends on the guitar. I was like, "That's the whole solo? F@#cking unison bends?" Then I listened to Dazed and Confused again and felt superior. True story. Great story.

Was there ever a Marky Bark and the Funke Bunch reference? If there was and I missed it I'd be disappointed.

Seriously. I guess we're all just going to pretend Benghazi never happened. Meanwhile, we'll just meander through the minutiae of Carnivale's inception, as if we'd actively clicked on some kind of…"walkthrough" or something…
