Close to 22 hours later I'm commenting for the same reason.

My mom would get these out of the library for me (probably for her in all actuality, I was a presumptuous little git who thought any book was obviously for me) - going so far as to request them from other libraries in the county system.

I love Dollar Tree toys.  The dinosaur hat was a hit with the kid.  And when I was deployed they (dollar store toys) were a great help to bringing cheer to our days.  My mom would send me a new batch of toys every month.  I had a ledge on the top of my desk that had massive battles between army men of different colors

My family really enjoys "All of Me".  We have used the "in bowl" line with proper inflection many a time.

The "sew like the wind" phrase was used and bastardized ad nausea in my family.  My special favorite was when one of us said "I have to go to the bathroom" and my dad would reply "Pee like the wind, young one".

Paula also makes valid criticisms occasionally.

I remembered to turn this on with 5 minutes to go.  I just don't care anymore.  The abomination that was last weeks elimination killed it for me.

Trying to write something coherent about why I think Marcus sucks - but I can't.  I'm watching the "Christmastime in Hell" segment of South Park.

Ok @avclub-4bdc1d6e5370e5eaa61869e9cdc4a44e:disqus I have a slight question about one specific thing you mentioned in this article: Hatsune Miku.  You're picking on the "live performance" aspect of a cartoon character, right?  Or am I getting that wrong?  If you are: What about Gorillaz?  They do the same thing.

I have to disagree with your view of Drunk Girl; I think she's awesome.  She was one note, but I've witnessed too many girls who act just like her drunk.

Drew IS Taylor Swift for teenage cutters.  She has been since day one.

Nevermind, the public spoke.

I truly feel that Simon has been setting up Drew for the win and for Rachel to be eliminated.  He keeps miss-stepping with her songs.  He seemingly puts less effort in for Rachel than he does with Drew.  I think the reasons for this are two-fold: 1. Drew, to him, is more salable and is the logical tween girl choice -

I've always heard "Shampoo is for cleaning your scalp, conditioner is for cleaning your hair".  I say screw it and use the 2 in 1's with anti-dandruff technology.  Of course, my hair looks like crap.

I thought they lived in that building on TBBT because Sheldon had moved in because it was close to work, then Leonard moved in for the same reason.  And waitress's can make decent money.  They had an upstairs neighbor for 1 episode who moved in after she had gotten a couple of national commercials and a role on a soap

"No, thank YOU Bruno Mars" said Steve.  Bruno Mars wasn't pre-taped was it? Because the Steve thing felt SO awkward.

My goddaughter and I really bonded over the Dr. Teeth, “You Can’t Take No For An Answer,” and for that I will always love the Muppets.  Her favorite thing to say to mom is "No" and this song gave her a legitimate reason to say "No" over and over and over again.

Just wanted to say that even though it seems like not many of us are watching I really appreciate you covering the X Factor.  So…  Thanks!

I also thought it was interesting that Drew said she'd never gotten a negative criticism before.  That was just sad.  To have never even heard CONSTRUCTIVE criticism (that's how I read it anyway).  Constructive criticism can be way harsh, make you feel like shit.

OK.  I'm going to go through the them all. With my wonderful uniformed commentary!
