I feel you on the TV fatigue these days. My list of current shows is really short right now. I've given up on a lot more shows recently than I usually do. And I can't even hate watch this one anymore. (As of this week. This is the first one I don't think I'll be watching since this show began.)
Yeah. I know! Wasn't trying to do that "attack the messenger" thing!
Yep.
Wait! I got married when I was 23. Oh …
:-)
I think I am going to finally stop watching this. I thought I would stick around until the bitter end, hate-watching. But I honestly hate it too much now.
Unless I'm wrong, they did at least say, "You should still keep watching The MIck but we aren't going to do any more reviews." No warning AT ALL for Baskets. And the first one dropped was kind-of an emotional wallop. Sucked not to be able to discuss it.
Not the same as saying something about it HERE. And anyway … why?!?? We all still love Baskets!
Cried through the whole thing. And it was that scene between Jack and William that got me the hardest, too.
Upvoted for both points equally. Please Like Me is one of my favorite things ever.
Yes, and considering it as available content for years, a show with just one season is not as valuable as one with more.
It is, extremely dated, but it tackles "issues" in a truly timely "now" sort of way. It's comfort TV without truly being comfortable.
I enjoyed it too. But you're right, if someone said they didn't, I wouldn't argue with them or try to say "stick with it" … it's a really good, quality version of what it is. But if you don't like what it is, then it won't win you over.
Wish they would let us know when things are going to be dropped.
Me too! I like having a few answers. I like being able to stop being all suspicious of Syd's motivations. (And existence! lol) Halfway through is a good time to get a few answers, ask some more questions, and get a good bit of action in there too. And visually … I'm not even sure there's a word good enough to…
Every time we see King onscreen I can't help but worry that something terrible is going to happen to him. While it does, of course, suck to have never existed … at least we can stop worrying about something awful happening to the adorable doggy.
Pay for access and still have commercials?
I don't think so.
Intolerant of bad spelling AND people who are different.
Yes. HBO aired their Sunday night shows early because of the Oscars.
Wes really had a knack for picking the wrong woman. This time it got him killed.
