I don't think it was obvious. However, I was not surprised. But that's mostly because her husband, the kid that Taylor and Real Pete made cry/man who owns the competition and parks his truck right in front of their shop, is pretty much one character on a very short list of town residents we've been told anything

I hope the lack of comments here is because most of us are in the same boat as me: I love this show! Because I love it, I'm watching a lot faster than the reviews are coming out. I both (a) can't remember exactly what's happened in each individual episode and (b) have trouble commenting because of knowledge from

Me too.

Also "not even on the same level" as you and me. I feel like it was a perfect way to say that he's not a bad person, but just not on the same playing field.

Hopefully this means there's one more coma available for the rest of us . . .

I read that first as "liberal babies" instead of literal.

Is it maybe because of the out-of-order airing? This one is where they quit smoking, so we don't see it in the subsequent ones, that unfortunately already aired ahead of this one.

Of course then he'd be dead rather than in jail, right? :-)
(Especially without airholes ….

So true about Transparent. Loved season one, it was really well done. Couldn't sustain any interest in the current season — got through two or three of them, and just never cared to go back. As a one-off like Horace and Pete, it would have been fantastic.

He tried to rob a gun store/armory … something like that, where there are lots of guns. He's not the brightest.

Am I the only one wondering where Flynn gets his perfect period clothing for each jump? (And an outfit for Lucy that one time.) I mean, we've seen the extensive wardrobe closet provided by the government for the gang, but how does Flynn have anything comparable?

I feel like changes to the future in this show are completely subservient to the plot. Which is one of the things that bothers me the most. I know I'm not first on this, but I am STILL bothered by the fact that they go back ONE TIME and completely obliterate Lucy's sister but then after that there are almost no

There are way too many gimmicky moments like Mr. Success's phone ringing "just in time" in this show. But I love it anyway and am willing to forgive. He's running such a long con, after all, and clearly without enough information from real Pete.

I know, too! I'm glad I'm binging it (because I'm enjoying it so much!), but yeah. I can't. I don't know how to say anything to a review this early in the game.

In the dream sequences, could you sing really, really well?

Ah yes, the beloved hot dog cooker.

I wanted to start Sneaky Pete and finish the most recent season of Please Like Me this weekend. Last night, wasn't feeling well and the kids' had a sleepover (here), and my library hold on Tana French's newest, The Trespasser, had come in last week … so I ended up just reading for hours after dinner. Good thing this

We went through a Spaceballs phase recently — with the kids, too, though they aren't that young. Watched part on Friday night when it was airing, then ran out of time. Rewatched the first part and finished the next day, too. It never really stops being funny.

I thought this, along with the "You really do know me.." comment when Eleanor stopped Chidi from over-explaining the plot were among the most heartwarming things in this episode. This one showing the he has, in fact, learned things from Eleanor too since they got to The Good Place.
The gradual deepening of their

Thank you, so much! I was trying so hard to place her, and had no idea what the character's name was. I'd forgotten she also had a pretty big role on How to Get Away with Murder last season.
