I laughed out loud at that line. The whole episode was hilarious from beginning to end, but that one really got me.

Same thing.
Upvoted because I'm also incredibly distracted by Rosa's different look.
The upside of the last stupid debate. I'm sure we all have a show or two (or ten) that we need to catch up on!
I've assumed that they are gone the actual amount of time that each trip takes, no matter "when" the time takes place. But I get the feeling that this isn't the kind of show that is going to explain things like that . . .
That and actually being willing to go in front of America admitting it.
Kristen Bell was fantastic in that scene too. The look she gave him right before deciding to simply not even try to correct him . . .
I wonder too. I keep HOPING that it's just scheduling or her contract or whatever (because otherwise she'd be there at Jimmy's events with Edgar, right? — and they don't explain it like saying, "Oh Dorothy's improv group is performing tonight" or whatever …), but I also keep wondering if they're leading up to trouble…
I had to come back here and say that I absolutely love having no idea what to expect from week to week with this show. That alone is just fantastic. (And also very Louie-like.) Whoever it was who called this week's show "powerful" — I agree, you nailed it. Was it perfect? No. Did everything make sense? Maybe it…
Once again, Dorothy is absent for an event where practically every other person on the show is present. She's only shown up where absolutely necessary for the past few weeks. I have to think that the actress is busy with something else for a while, because I see no signs that she's been written out in any way.
I agree. I loved this episode. So many great lines.
Why are there weekly reviews for Divorce and not for Insecure? I don't understand!
I'm thinking it's definitely going to be a domestic plot or something similarly "unexpected" — you don't spend three weeks and a ton of plot time delaying the blame AND have one of your main characters spend almost all of her time investigating an alternative theory AND show the one survivor behaving as if he was in…
OMG, did anybody else catch that Paul's wound was bleeding after he fell off the toilet when the wall turned around?!? So awesome. That and the bigifier line made me laugh out loud while watching in public.
That's right! So many murders . . .
So true. Being in emotional pain is one of the easiest and likeliest ways to become completely caught up in yourself.
The student's response was really great, too. His genuine "I'm sorry" and mundane explanation of how their professor was requiring that they use film, and they don't have a lot of extra film. Was truly another way the show is saying "People aren't really as awful as they seem; they just have their own stuff going…
That would be fantastic. Unlikely, but really awesome.
Thank you! I was thinking about that, and how it totally makes the Atlanta joke from last week even, well, I was going to say "funnier" but really … brilliant.
Seriously. Not exactly "confusing" but it did, in fact, after I read it and thought, "Isn't he dead?", cause me to imdb the name and finally realize there were two. (Yeah. I know. What rock, right? But I'm TOTALLY up on peak TV. Movies, not so much…)
