I thought so as well. I think we were supposed to. Kudos to those who saw through it and expected Phillip, because I absolutely did not see it coming.

Even her pony tail was gorgeous. I was all, "I wish I could get my hair to look like that."

And that is absolutely enough reason to keep him around.

Several people have brought up the fact that Gus is in therapy as evidence that he must also be working on his issues. They are going to have to do better than that for me — as in, what does he see as his issues? How is he working on them? Because so far, his "therapy" and listening to the tapes just seems like an

Agree. Heidi had served her purpose as a distraction from Mickey and to show us what a jerk Gus could be. And she was written out in the most obvious way possible, so we could get back to the point of the show — Mickey and Gus. (Ick! I hate to even type their names together they are such a misfit couple …)

Yeah, that was complete bullshit. In what world had he been great?!?

I wonder where they go from here. The show would lose a lot without Stewart's exasperated reactions to Dean's behavior, but I'm not sure I'll be able to buy it as genuine after he's spent all this effort trying to get Dean to "grind" again and even asked him directly.

I suspect they had a lot of fun coming up with the different ways to hide her bump. I know I'm really enjoying it too.

I still really enjoy this show, and Girls. But I couldn't even get through the first episode of Vinyl. I tried over several days.

They (the two at the competing coffee shop) were so rude and awful that I had to take it as a poke at how insufferable of that sort of thing is when taken too far. To me too far is when people think it's ok to run roughshod over others' feelings, no matter what their agenda is. That and the fact that Ray is our guy,

And, he believes he loves her. Dude should have known when she didn't return his texts that he shouldn't bother, but most people have to at least give it a try …

Absolutely loved Peter Gallagher's loving glance at the dog when he and Tina were discussing Alex's party by the pool — the fact that he loves that dog more than he'll ever care about Tina is one of the best understated gags of this show.

Knowing her that was on purpose.

Very little pop culture weekend here, either. Spring may not have officially sprung but baseball season sure has, spent the weekend running the kids around as well. The current episode of Horace and Pete is all I've caught so far.

I've seen the whole series, and while reading this review, realized that I didn't remember this one at all.

Now I'm sorry I said that thing about Uncle Pete not getting laid very much.

Yeah, I would have too. I liked it. Something about the world it created sucked me in and it was a full-on guilty pleasure watch for me. It was not a great, or even very good, show but I am genuinely sorry it won't be back.

Not to mention the idea that there wouldn't be a security tape at the entrance? Where Tom shoots the security guards. Oh and how does Tom get out of a building that surrounded by SWAT and all kinds of law enforcement undetected? Can't even suspend disbelief on this one.

I think the problem here with separating the actor and the character is that (a) he is also a creator and (b) must have created this character for himself. It's hard not to read something into that.

Bugged me a little that she was all hot for the truth, then went crazy when he told her. But then again, that was a big confession. Not in this show — I mean, who isn't a murderer? But, I mean, in reality. Or, okay, pseudo-reality.
