Loved Jake telling Liv that married was her type. Just like we said here last week. But otherwise, just seeing Jake was a big groaned. Does he even have a job right now?

Yes. She made excellent points that in many other shows would be our "heroes'" arguments to some witness to get them to testify.

Trust your boyfriend. You really do not want to work for Annalise. That was one of the best lines.

Especially Annalise. I had a strong feeling this week that she was being a truthful with Mate as she possibly could. That what she was telling him was emotionally true even while full of actual lies.

This is an interesting idea. I had been watching the two shows together, with Grandfathered first. Today I only had time for one so I watched this one. I liked it a whole lot more when it didn't follow Grandfathered (btw, I do enjoy Grandfathered, probably more than I do this one).

It would have been so much fun if Judy Greer had played the wife. Absolutely appropriate for this show and very meta with the idea too that she gets tiny parts in so much stuff.

Actually gaining the weight is more authentic but to mess with Terry Crews' physique in that way would be beyond unthinkable.

Or they are making jam in New Hampshire.

I was practically screaming in my head "Don't do it! She has every reason to set you up!" And even though they played it so emo, I was thinking that Annalise is way too smart to put herself at risk like that . . . Then I stopped myself and remembered, "Oh yeah. This show." Am very glad she didn't do it but it wasn't

Thank you! I did a double-take: how could I not have noticed Edgar wearing that awful shirt??

She's going to leave him anyway.

I think he's there to be in charge of the law office and make final decisions (usually in Dean's favor). Otherwise the two brothers would be at a stalemate over everything. Or, if he wasn't there and it was Stewart's firm, he would never have let Dean in there to start with and, then, no show.
