Yes, I saw it, I liked it, it's a drama to see with your girlfriend. Norah was beautiful in it; she even looked wonderful among her co-stars, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz.
Watching Sean Penn
Saw this at Chicago International Film Festival; would have liked this movie much more if Sean Penn hadn't been attached to it. I even agree with his character on most everything in this movie. Except for how he seems to be talking down to his wife, the viewers, and everyone else in the movie. …
I liked the Mythbusters! The audience participation stuff was good times for us people in the middle-of-the-pack.
Ok, Koski, then I respectfully disagree that "Give me some chocolate or I will cut you" is not political satire. Political rallies are part of the political system in the United States. So, the signs at political rallies are part of the system, and mocking them is political satire.
Koski got it wrong
I was there, sounds like I was much closer than Koski; closer to the front than the back.
Mario and Luigi
Is that just a coincidence, or did the characters in this movie inspire Nintendo's Mario? There's certainly a resemblance to Nintendo's Mario and one of the characters (I think it's Luigi?).
"beautiful, desirable man-creatures"
I hope this is how they are described in the Twilight books.
Frat Guise, you missed January, which almost certainly beats out October.
Great, another Adrien Brody thread
This Dario Argento release must make today one of the worst days of Adrien Brody's life.
Opposite of Videocracy
Big fan of this feature. It's like all the good stuff of the Internet I might enjoy, while Videocracy reminds me that I should never click on the "Top Videos" or whatever of YouTube.
That Music Video
As every page is turned to another picture of Madonna, I can't help but think,
"glum king of mellifluous melancholia"
This review is full of flowery adjectives, which seems perfectly appropriate for an Antony and the Johnsons album. I'll probably check this out…
Fred Halloween Costumes
Thank God, they don't exist. All I could find were Flintstone, Krueger, and the Fred from Scooby-Doo.
Very good
Fincher + Sorkin worked out pretty well, the acting was great, the music was appropriate. Can't think of anything bad to say about it. Good review, too.
Agreed. :(
Sounds good
Zhang Yimou's really hit-or-miss with me, but this should be good.
Exploiting the Working-Class Chinese
Making my oversized jeans is not enough! They must also entertain me!
Yes, this is terrible, and I hope it kills the career of everyone who had a part in it.
Same here, didn't post this one on facebook, cuz I couldn't think of how to explain it.
