I'd like to put in a request so the community can give a letter grade to interview subjects so I can give the Coen brothers an "A" at life.

Boo taking December off
December's the only month where I don't have classes and work is slow enough that I can hurry up and read something for fun.

Agree that this is not a romantic comedy. It follows the story of a man and a woman, but that's pretty much the only way they overlap.

In-flight movies
I've only seen two, and both were on airplanes when my iPod ran out of batteries on international flights: Pluto Nash and Cheaper by the Dozen 2. I remember thinking Pluto Nash wasn't nearly as bad as I'd expected, but I wanted the plane to crash when I was watching Cheaper by the Dozen 2.

I'm guessing Army of Shadows counts as "New Cult Canon" because of its delayed release in the U.S.?

Herzog School, Bergman Auction
This has been a good day. As an aspiring film director with money to burn, I am excited about this and Phipps's twitter announcement regarding the Bergman auction.

Soundtrack is fine on Last Laugh, but it wasn't a selling point for me.

Book Cellar

Not to be a Stickly Sticklerson, but the title is "Adaptation." with a period.

So far, Pixar has done well under Disney, so maybe we don't need to freak out.
