There's no one in the line of succession who isn't terrible. I just hope we land on the least terrible option and I think that might be Ryan

Don't forget also being mandated by White House decree as the official TV news station of the FDA and HHS.

I imagine she's hoping the stress of being POTUS will kill him sooner so she can grab her share and GTFO

As I've mentioned multiple times here I'm really enjoying the expanded character stuff of the series. Gaiman is primarily interested in myth and folklore which I think explains his primary weakness as an author (and I say this as a fan) - his characters tend to be archetypal instead of fleshed out, real world

"I think I'll stay behind the pace of the show."

I'm enjoying the changes mostly. I think they're necessary to adapting the story to a multi-episodic visual narrative. She's not a minor character really so I was happy to see her backstory expanded on a bit

To be fair, Shadow as written in the book (where he kind of fades away into the background and let's things happen) wouldn't really work well in a visual narrative. Since he's there and he's the protagonist, he needs to do things.

It keeps picking up signals from the Russian robots on the It's A Small World ride

at this point I welcome the distraction

Tilda Swinton strikes me as an actor who looks at a project in terms of what she can do with a character, not what it will do for her career.

Time to watch Doug Walker's evisceration of the original movie

In Jackman's country they're called "biteywullumps" so the confusion is understandable.

a Trump speech about Islam drafted by Muslim ban architect/Roy Cohn’s reanimated skeleton Stephen Miller

Probably has something to do with Hot Topic

I'm sure if you did the same thing for more recent films you'd end up with a lot of undistinct blobs of teal and orange.
