Bill will be First Gentleman. There's a ton of comedy to mine from that alone.

I imagine there's lots of on the down low action on one of those

you can't just randomly assign meanings to words, you know.

By the time production wraps on this, this will have been 3 fads ago.

I thought the first episode was pretty off-putting as well but it settles down into some solid black comedy. It is difficult to binge watch though.

If you haven't seen it, you'd probably enjoy Lady Dynamite. It's more centered on Bipolar but of course there's quite a lot of overlap between that and traditional clinical depression.

The cast of this show might be the best ensemble for an animated show since the Simpson's heyday. I don't think there's a single weak performance.

The GOP faithful excel at eating shit sandwiches and smiling.

This game is a really neat concept but good god I can't wait for this fad to hurry up and die.

It's not included in the list but I was unreasonably happy to hear Peter Gabriel's cover of Heroes at the end of one episode.

Bruno Sammartino was arguably the most famous professional wrestler in the world pre Hulk Hogan.

Those are easy mistakes to make at 2am.

I think any discussion of Harlan Ellison and this episode can be summed up with the following sentence:

Yesterday's Enterprise aka Denise Crosby's "I've made a huge mistake" episode is arguably one of the best that TNG did. I'd put it right up there with Best of Both Worlds.

I remember reading somewhere that Charles Napier was disappointed that he wasn't going to play an alien in Little Green Men but he was relieved that he wasn't playing another "goddamned signing space hippy"

I can remember it being used in this context as far back as 1985.

I can imagine Heidecker's weirdness going completely unnoticed in the insanity that is this year's GOP.

Stranglehold is a great song, but the things that make it great have nothing to do with Nugent. He doesn't sing on it and its major selling point is an absolutely killer bass line.

This is the strangest POTUS election I have ever seen and I've been alive since the Nixon administration.
