It's weird how Lego, whose sole purpose is to sell their product, has managed to find the sweet spot between marketing and story whereas many film makers, who are ostensibly trying to create an engaging story, end up compromising their vision for the sake of merchandising ::cough:: George Lucas ::cough::.

If those people think that voting for a walking Dunning Kruger effect populist billionaire who outsources pretty much all of his manufacturing enterprises to China and India is going to bring their jobs back, then yeah, they're stupid. And nothing fixes stupid. You just have to minimize the damage as much as possible

The tainted water and kidnappings will probably take care of that.

More than an implication:

I wouldn't be so sure. He's the leader of the stupid people. There are a lot of stupid people and many of them vote.

I feel like the show this season has sort of succumbed to a lot of the typical prison movie tropes that so far it had resisted, if not subverted previously. We've got absurdly sadistic guards, racial tension, gangs, and so forth.

More like Dr. Never Gonna Get Laid

He was also instrumental (no pun intended) in Bill Laswell's experimental
ensemble Praxis

And that, ladies and gentlemen is how you turn a Disney movie into Watership Down

Depends on what your expectations are.

"Oh gosh. You know, I'm not much on speeches, but it's so gratifying
to… leave you wallowing in the mess you've made. You're screwed, thank
you, bye."

I misread that as Jerry Lewis

Leave it to the internet to completely misunderstand basic science.

Well now I'm confused. If Lindsay's against it, clearly the people in England made the right choice.

Dude needs to hurry up and get the next season of iZombie going.

Star Trek musicals never end well

Yeah, I don't get that. The show's been championing progressive causes (often in a very roundabout way because of pressure from above) since its inception. Anyone who watches the show should, at the very least, be comfortable with its bias even if they don't necessarily agree with it

It almost (but not quite) sounds like a New Orleans "yat"

That's what happens when you shave an alpaca.

This show looks like it might be fun.
