Yeah. I wish more artists would collaborate like the jazz musicians of the 50's and 60's did. Hip-Hop does this successfully and has flourished but rock and roll seems to place too much emphasis on "the band" as a single unit to ever do this on a large scale.

I "prefer" Davis but Coltrane is the greatest individual performer in jazz history in my opinion, taking jazz to philosophical/metaphysical heights, turning music into a spiritual journey. This makes his later albums hard to listen to but doesn't stop me from admiring their ambition and scope.

I guess I'm the only one in the world who enjoys that song even if it is out of place on the record. I actually made a youtube video inspired by the song along with Bing Crosby's Welcome to My Dream.
