It's no longer happening.
I sent in an RSVP, and got this:

Right Girl: Agreed that Tamesha won't stick around. Her looking up to Angelo immediately sets her below him. I'm reminded of whoever it was last season that gushed that working with Mike Voltaggio was like cleaning Picasso's paintbrushes.

Fuck You I Win
So, I know that the name of this script was given specifically so I would not like these guys, but it's done the opposite. Anyone know anything about this script? Just the name conjures up images of an awesomely over the top action movie.

Big Knife: For what it's worth, Kickass is not a great movie, but the best things about it were Nicholas Cage and his daughter. If it were nothing but a movie about the two of them, I would've liked it a lot more.

Elimination challenge was deeply flawed, but it had to be set up the way it was (if you're doing any tournament style). Reversing it so that they're all competing for the win would mean that, once they know they won't be eliminated, the stakes are lower, meaning less pressure and less drama.

The fans do not like him. Remember when he had the advantage of choosing his own ingredients for one challenge, that other people could not use, and purposely chose ingredients with no plan on what to make just so he could screw other people? He ended with like a random piece of bread on his plate because he had no

My heart sunk when I saw that entire group get called up at once, knowing only one would make it through. She, Shane Mauss, and Kirk Fox were by far my favorites of the night. Rachel Feinstein was 4 0r 5. I'm not sure I'm watching after this, when they got rid of such talent but kept Mike DiStefano.

Draebaer: She got a bad set of bananas, that were too starchy (hence grainy) and not sweet. When those are only one of three ingredients you've purchased for your dessert, you're just hosed. There's no coming back. She added the sugar in a misguided attempt to make it more edible. It was not her starting plan.

The "Judges Got It Wrong" Thread
I can't believe they eliminated Jacqueline over Amanda. I don't care how bad her dish was. Amanda spent too much money to make a completely child inappropriate dish (alcohol, really?) and it was still terrible enough to be at the bottom. From concept to budget to execution, she

I think it's perfectly reasonable to say the robot guy is not the right fit for the show, even if he's funny. Because, he's funny one time. Then you get the schtick, and there's nothing else left. But these people will be on television week after week. Seeing the robot dude being a robot the fifth time in a row

For me Sweeney Todd went off the rails at the second act. It wasn't bad, it's just not what I went in there for, and not what I wanted it to be, and all this time later I still don't know what to make of it.

I mostly like the twist, I just wish the movie would've ended 2 minutes earlier. At that point, you have the son declaring himself to be a new killer of demons, and just enough ambiguity as to whether or not he really is—after all, the police officer does seem to admit guilt of murder, and how could he know that?—but

Right on with this choice. I love the premise, of a good-hearted drunk with superpowers. But then they squander it and replace with generic action crap.

8mm
My first thought when I saw this topic was 8mm, a Nicholas Cage mystery movie that kept piling on the suspense and atmosphere for an hour and a half—only to completely squander it in a bizarre final act that was unintentionally hilarious in its poor execution. All of a sudden, the movie wasn't a mystery, it's a

I learned of John Mulaney from one of the recent posts on this site. Really fresh, funny stuff.

I went to Hebrew class with Mayim Bialik.
Anyone want my picture?

Isn't this just every action movie ever made?
Trying to figure out what makes something make the list vs. not. Doesn't pretty much every action movie ever involve the hero and a love interest developing their bond while fighting bad guys? Just off the top of my head I see Transformers, Avatar, Under Siege (no, I

I find Trucker's Delight far more fucked up than Human Centipede. Didn't know its name until now, just knew it as that vile youtube video that thought raping women is funny. I don't know what it's doing here.

OMG that was awful. I just listened to the first half of This Party Took a Turn for the Douche, and couldn't make it through.
