I don't remember which one I saw, but I saw one of them recently, and it was funny. So some people need to suck Arsenio's ballsack, and now.

Super Metroid, people, is best game ever. For the original Nintendo, It's Up There is right, we have to go with Zelda. Mario does get second place (and arguably third) for both systems, though. So there's that.

El Zilcho: I stopped watching the Sopranos midway through season 1 mainly because I did think Tony became iredeemable. There's an episode where he finds someone in the witness protection program. Tony strangles him (after he tells Tony about how he could have killed him first, but chose not to), and we watch him

allurin: The reason I think you're wrong (aside from not thinking it would be so lame if we beat the cylons) is because you see only two choices: The cylons beat themselves, or we do. But part of what made the cylons so interesting was that they had a plan, and it seemed like humanity was following it by fighting

Alurin: I disagree. The trick is to make sure you jump ship *before* New Caprica. That was the first point where the cylons went from creepy-and-intriguing-wholly-alien-intellect-with-a-plan to, oh, a bunch of petty, arguing regular people. These are the robots that destroyed 90% of civilization? And now they want

I'm so glad you said that. I'm slogging through it on DVD right now, and was wondering if I should keep going. It requires so much suspension of disbelief, and all I want is a simple prison break, dammit. Maybe I'll hang in there.

Anywhere I lay my head: Watch the miniseries and Season 1, and ONLY Season 1, of BSG. Totally worth it, and among the best television I've ever seen. In relation to the Wire: I rank it higher (though it's a different feel, so YMMV). Best of all, it has the kind of conclusion where you can fill in the rest of the

To those of you annoyed by the whole battery angle: If it helps, I hear the original script had people being used for their brain power, to run some kind of complicated computer system. It just got rewritten to appeal to the masses.

No sir. The whole problem with Reloaded is that it goes stupid, ignoring the rules created in the first one so that it can have a car chase. In the first, by the end he has basically unlimited power. In the second, all of a sudden he doesn't. oh, he can stop bullets. He can't shoot them back, though, or make them

I thought Cusack earned the ending. When he's with the strip club manager at the end, he finally gets smart and gets *more* evil, and shoots her. It turns out that was the right move, and that's how he finds the money. One of the things I liked about the movie was that what made Cusack weak was his conscience. At

"…either grating or out-and-out unlikable."

You know, I pulled this off the shelf just last weekend and almost watched it, but had to put it back because that bastard boxcutter is in it. Even though no money would exchange hands, I still felt somehow I'd be supporting him.

It's worth it. (And bonus seven words: Seriously. Holy Moly. Dude's a total douche.)

"The whole 'can't make new memories' thing isn't the truth, but the audience is conditioned to believe it is."

@Across the Board: Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a great movie. I just don't think it's perfect.

The first time I watched it, I just thought it was okay. Kinda weird and overly quirky. (Obviously I don't think so anymore, see avatar.) It was only when I had an inexplicable urge to watch it again and again that I decided I loved it.

Memento is a good pick. The first time I saw it, it blew me away. And then after a few days I started picking apart the plot flaws. Can't watch that movie a second time. (And ditto on Patton Oswalt. He's not offensive, but he's no Mitch Hedberg.)

Best KITH sketch is Bruce McCullough's open letter to the guy who stole the front wheel of his bike. I laugh every time.

Riff Raff: I agree, there are strong hints of that. Things like Caan having a "conflict of interest" in the matter. I thought she was too.

I dunno, Wet Hot American Summer seemed to be a lot more open about the spoofing it was doing. For me, I go with Waterboy.
