Clearly you did miss the second line of my post, where I indicated that a good grade for one of Todd's reviews is a rarity.

…Fringe is a long-running show?
Another thing I've been thinking about of this episode, and it involves one of the stray observations:
Yeah I understand that Girls is pretty much just the TV adaptation of Tiny Furniture.
That's almost my point (and why I pointed out to the humorlessness of Caprica specifically): my question is why is OUaT taking itself so damn seriously? I mean, I can't be the only one who thought the whole fairyback fight scene was more than a little silly (especially with the fairies) and that scene actually worked,…
So you clearly missed the second line of my post, then.
It's funny you mention Jane Espenson because really I'm beginning to become more and more convinced that she's a big part of the problem. She was after all a major driving force behind Caprica which not only was humorless (which isn't necessarily a bad thing - though not only do the best dramas like Breaking Bad, Mad…
I can't call myself a fan of the show but I am a long-time viewer, and I'm more than happy to say this:
Another thing:
Ladies and Gentlemen - after the next four weeks or so, this show will be the closest thing we'll have to House.
Yeah, I'm not gonna lie - I'm trying to figure out what Girls is, exactly. Is it a dramedy? It seems to be one of the more straight-up dramadies (even compared to, say, Glee which at least unapologetically tries to have its cake and eat it too in terms of the drama/comedy ratio) Or is it more a straight-up drama with L…
That's frankly too easy and even a little insulting (whether you want to interpret it as "she's still a virgin because she's shy about her sexuality" or "she's shy about her sexuality because she's still a virgin" - either way I find a tinge insulting because it either suggests that all people who are shy about their…
what is this I don't even
Anyway I can give a rating to the review itself? I want to give it an A+.
That's true but even they got supporting actor/actress nods. There has to be a lead on the show somewhere; you can't have a supporting actor without a lead by definition. It's like how you can tell a document was written by a total tool if it has a single numbered bullet point followed by nothing else.
Also what's with the caption on the promo image? Alicia Silverstone, Alan Tudyk…oh, and other people, we forgot about those.
I'm betting the show remembered Kevin Hart but forgot how he came onto the show in the first place.
It's because Lloyd and Levitan are gearheads and are letting their hobby take over the show.
"You just want me to be a trophy wife? Okay, I can do that!" (or whatever the line was)."
Actually that's 6 actor/actress nods, if you include, well, actress nods. They literally nominated every adult role on the show. Even I'm scratching my head on that.
