SitcomsRuleMyLife - thank you; the appreciation sure is, well, appreciated, though even a glaring ego like me will admit it seems misplaced aimed at such a wannabee with a rather presumptuous name (for the record I only choose this username for the lulz!) But anyway, I did continue to write my own thoughts about LMS

As for what I've thought of the episodes since - it's really a rehash of a 90s sitcom (especially, yes, the inevitable comparisons to Home Improvement Todd himself brought up more than once) but that's hardly a bad thing. Home Improvement is one of my most favorite sitcoms of all time. The laughs don't even have to be

I also want to add that I agree with Todd's observation of ABC's recent "man in woman's world" kick (obviously I wrote that post prior to getting to that part). As said, Just Shoot Me or Newsradio points the way to how this could be done, with the added bonus of the two main leads living double lives/perspectives. Or

Reviews like this are one of the reasons why you're amongst my favorite AV Club personalities.

Oh a more serious note I want to address, or maybe reinforce, a specific point:

Todd reviews yet another shitty midseason replacement? Have they finally just written all the short straws at the AV Club office with your name on them yet?

…a rosy outlook for ABC Family? Have you ever seen Secret Life of an American Teenager? Or Pretty Little Liars? I can't even say they glamorizes teenage sluttiness as so much as glamorizes the shadefreude of teenage sluttiness. Good or bad I can't exactly call that "rosy."

Rainbow Dash? I would've gone with mentioning Twilight Sparkle.

Is Magda Apowaicz doomed to the hell that is SyFy forever?

What review is this I don't even.

So is this going to be a regular feature? Novelizations of the episode instead of reviews?

…apparently this episode isn't even on Xfinity's OnDemand (particularly troubling since Xfinity literally owns this show in the first place). So I guess they've completely given up on it.

…those must be quite some acquaintances….

…wait, so, this Kerry chick is 25 years old?

Your Aladdin idea frankly wasn't the most horrible idea for a SyFy mini-series. Plus, boys wanting to bang princesses is a pretty timeless plotline.

Unfortunately it's the ease of which more "proletariat" reviews can be found (YouTube etc) that have ended the reign of professional "bourgeois" review shows on television, even on Public Television (and yeah I'm sure Ebert probably dislikes the notion of being referred to as that, but that's how a lot of people look

…being sent to a facility where you are not allowed to walk for your own good qualifies as an upbeat conclusion now?

…you sure that's not backwards?
