I absolutely adore "There Will Be Blood". I think it's easily PTA's best film, and I say this as a big fan. Elswit does awesome work. There's actually multiple connections there. George Michael became Scott Pilgrim, Maeby became the guitarist in Green Room, and the guitarist in Sex Bob Ombs plays a key role in Green Room.

It's one of my favorite movies of the last five years or so. Just brutal in the best way.

I was a musician for many years and have been to oodles of shows, and when I saw Savages last year it was probably the single greatest show I've ever seen. They absolutely fucking destroyed.
