At this moment I am listening to Bob Dylan's "Blood on the Tracks", and just as I put it in (yup, it's a CD) I was thinking about great "break-up albums", the records that feel (intentionally or otherwise) like a documentation of a relationship gone sour. One that would definitely hit my list is Fiona Apple's "When

Good point.

I THINK THA BASS IS TAKIN AWAY FROM YA VOCALS

I'll spoil the ending: all the films will be bad, and they will all make lots of money.

"10 Cloverfield Lane" had a great thing going and then outside forces came in and changed the ending. They fucked up.

I really dug "High-Rise". Have you seen "Kill List"?

"Martyrs" is a rare film in that I have had to really hold off on seeing it a second time. I think I saw it around the time it came out, and it stayed with me, but I have a pretty specific hard-to-describe phobia that the movie violates in a major way (you can probably guess the scene, it's late in the story), and

I don't know, but the "I Need To Know" board on IMDb is usually good for this kind of stuff.

I'm a huge Cronenberg fan and I love "eXistenZ". It is clearly an update of "Videodrome" but still has a lot of great aspects. I can understand where you're coming from, though.

"Safe" is one of my favorite movies. It kinda functions as a horror movie. Totally unnerving, perfectly crafted.

Understandable. But just keep in mind that locker bully is probably doing five years for distributing meth.

I hope your depression gets at least a bit better. Whether it be the score from "Hoosiers" (great fucking movie btw), a nice spring breeze, or whatever floats your damn boat, there's tons of stuff to enjoy in life. I hope you find as much of it as you need.

Say what you will about Predator fandom, at least it's an ethos.

I didn't care who won the West, but damn I was rooting against fucking Pittsburgh. Now I'm heavily rooting for SJ to beat those fuckers. Those fans have been let down year after year, and I would be more than happy to see guys like Marleau and Thornton hoist the Holy Grail.

I liked "Dogtooth" ok when I saw it, but thinking back on it I started to dig/understand it even more. The director's next movie "Alps" kinda confused me entirely but I would say it's worth watching. Heavily stoked for "The Lobster".

Hi everyone! Here's what I've got:

How's the flood situation in FM?

Thank God! Sorry, I just couldn't be sure. My apologies.

Don't bother with facts, someone who didn't like something and kinda sorta remembers a couple things about it already started shouting on the Internet so it's already over

Maybe my sarcasm-radar is off. I really hope so. But taking your comment at face value……that's disappointing. There's "no way" he's not an awful criminal because….."just LOOK at him"? Seriously? This is what we've come to with regulars on the AVC?
