Yeah, I commented on this above but I can't get how he missed that, considering how obsessed he is with the movie.

Yeah, I've seen the movie oodles of times, and he calls her "Sgt Pepper" because of her clothes; it couldn't be plainer. I've never once heard it as "Sgt Pecker", have no idea why that would be funny, and have even less idea how a professional comedian so obsessed with a movie would not understand the joke.
It's one of my all-time faves, certainly one of my fave comedies, and one of the most endlessly re-watchable movies ever. The word "perfect" was used a couple times by others but it is truly one of those weirdly perfect films where every single scene, every bit part, every line just is somehow part of a magnificent…
I was on fuck support once. It was actually great. No wait, it was bad.
Get thee to some Almodovar movies stat. She's amazing in "Volver".
It's my favorite for sure.
Total co-sign. My favorite Smashing Pumpkins song, two great PJ songs, great Cornell and a blistering Soundgarden song, both Westerberg tracks are excellent. Great stuff.
Yeah that song is dope as hell and used to perfection in the scene.
On behalf of Green Room I would like to apologize for the shredding of your nerves. Amazing movie.
It boggles the mind that any viewer wouldn't be blown away by "13 Assassins" in general, especially the battle scene in specific.
Seen "Faults", it was stellar.
I thought The Lobster came out a year ago and was surprised to see a trailer for it at the theater recently. Stoked regardless.
Spot on. Raylan is our protagonist for sure but the show makes it pretty clear that he is slippery and morally compromised. (It's on my brain since a few hours ago I just finished Elmore Leonard's novel "Raylan".) It's impossible not to love Raylan (and of course lust after Timothy Olyphant) but he's in that category…
Good luck with the book!
"Take Shelter" is one of the best movies of the last ten years. I love all of Jeff Nichols' movies, but this one in particular blows me away.
I basically hate Woody Allen but "Bullets Over Broadway" is pretty fucking funny. "Don't speak!" and "I'm a whore!" crack me up.
Congrats on the awards!
First, let me say what is (hopefully) obvious: I and the vast majority of the AVC support trans rights and want all the same things you want. I truly wish for a fair and kind society where these discussions wouldn't even be needed.
I agree. I think this is just one more point at which the culture at large will say "wow, that loud asshole part of our society really sucks" and move away from it. I'm basically a cynic but I am also really proud of how our (American) culture has advanced in the area of LGBT issues in recent years. In no way do I…
