I think they're referring to later when you hear a woman's voice say "I never said I was frightened of dying". I think that woman was the wife of Peter Watts, who worked for the band and whose laughter is used on the album. He was Naomi Watts' father (he died of an OD in 1976).

Yeah it was driving me nuts too. Pretty big oversight by the reviewer.

I've thought this a hundred times since I started the re-watch of PB but I will say it aloud here: the moment you start questioning the logic of the show, it's done. It's transparently stupid. Either you ride with that stupidity or you don't.

Fight Club is awesome. Black comedy at its best.

Almodovar is an all-time great, and All About My Mother is probably my favorite of his. Amazing movie. Sorry you didn't like Flower, I have a soft spot for it and it's only mid-level Almodovar.

Persona is one of the best films ever made. Mulholland Dr is my favorite work of art in any medium. Not a coincidence.

Sun rise. Sun set. Predator again. Yup.

"The Mother We Share" is my favorite song by anyone in the last five years.

LA Story is so goddamned good. Best thing Martin ever did.

Fiona's second album is her best. I will always love it, and it will always have strong emotional ties to a time in my life where I was listening to it a lot and it seemed to be describing my life.

Keep on with Almodovar, he's one of the greats. I love Volver like crazy.

Sicario is really good, but Blunt's character's endless stupidity really limits the movie.

We need to start a JJL appreciation club. Mentioned it in my own post but I re-watched eXistenZ last night and goddam, I just can never take my eyes off of her no matter what else is happening. But her voice is also the best. Sexy and tough but also vulnerable and beautiful. OK I'll stop now.

Hi! Before we proceed HOLY SHIT Naomi Watts is gonna be on Twin Peaks! I thought of you after reading the news. I knew you'd be stoked.

Greetings and salutations, AVCers. I hope this weekend has treated you well. Here's mine:

It's been years since I saw it, and (sigh) twenty years since I read "Macbeth" in my senior high school English class (taught by my father, thanks Pop) but HELL YES this movie was fab. I'm not even a big Kurosawa guy, but I really dug this one.

Simms is awful and he should be fired. Having said that, I'm really surprised that - unless I missed it - no one has mentioned the obvious possibility that (like Aikman) he is simply not all there due to concussions suffered during his playing career. If he's mentally compromised, he shouldn't be broadcasting. If he's

Yeah and he's always like "I forgot my bullets".
