You are mostly right. I would love a Winston A-plot but I would still complain if they screwed it up.

Personally I think it's the fact that this is a Sherlock Holmes show scares people away. I haven't been able to get

@fursa_saida:disqus I hear what you are saying but I guess I just really enjoyed the slow buildup over the course of the season. But maybe the op isn't much of a foreplay kind of guy and would prefer to jump in at the end.

It looks like Fred put more effort into this comment than the show runner puts into a script.

What do you want to bet that he complains about being typecast because he can't get parts after this show is over?

I think when Holmes corrected Watson that "her name is Moriarty" said more about what is still going on inside him than when he called her simply a criminal.

Mine is the only thing the voices in my head could all agree on.

Same with spelling almost any word. If any doubt pops into your mind while writing it, suddenly no matter what you do it won't look right.
