I agree with the haters: I'm quickly losing all patience for this show. If they killed off all these characters and started with a new batch next week, I wouldn't care. So far this show just seems like empty product, a webisode stretched out to 60 minutes each week.

I'm going to bed. Wolverines!

That sounds like scoffing. I said don't scoff.

Let's forget about the recent remake of Red Dawn, and imagine a proper sequel, with the original cast members (minus Swayze) as grizzled, middle-aged veterans, still fighting the good fight against the Commies after all these years. Don't scoff: this is a great idea.

We've seen what happened when Wiseau tried to make a serious drama. If he tried to make an ironic, campy, self-reflexive film, I think the failure would be so spectacular and bizarre that it would totally blow our minds.

I heard Cave describe that sequel (aka "Christ Killer") on WTF: goddamn, it sounded like the best movie ever.

Cockfighter II: The Chickening

Public torrent sites are like public schools, pools, golf courses, or bathrooms. If you've got the option, you go private: it's 1,000 times better.

Funyuns, yo.

The reports I read months ago seemed to be just a circle jerk of unsubstantiated gossip and wishful thinking…but now I'm cautiously optimistic.

RJD was born in Portsmouth NH and moved to Cortland when he was very young.  The list of rock stars from NH is very short, so one has to clutch at straws.

Warren Zevon, Hula Hula Boys

1) The actual state song, "Old New Hampshire," is fucking terrible.  At least, the version the local TV stations would play before signing off for the night.

This is Texas

I must not make puns. Puns are the mind-killer.

Mike Watt's album "Hyphenated-Man" = 30 songs inspired by Hieronymous Bosch's "Garden of Earthly Delights."  All the songs are named after the trippy creatures in that painting ("Arrow-pierced-egg-man," "Beak-holding-letter-man," etc.).

If your bumper sticker doesn't make random strangers want to kill you, then what's the point?

Log Zeppelin, "Black Log"

@avclub-5b7e0a1ad5d9ac9ef3063b05f55b6d31:disqus I've never really studied the song, but I always thought it had a positive message, i.e., don't waste your life fantasizing about being with the "perfect girl/boy," or the "one who got away"…when you can be with someone very cool right now, if you put your mind to it.
