I liked her with the Monkey when I saw them live nearly a decade ago in Edinburgh but lately I seen a clip of her on British TV doing a show where she attached dummy mouths to audience members and it felt very hacky.

Or Evil T-Dogg

I once worked for a large multi-national processor manufacturer and spent half a day digitally making illustrated black characters whiter for their middle eastern market. White people were fine, light brown people were fine but dark brown people was not ok. The dark brown people that had been originally put in because

Lincoln said on Nerdist that he uses his Rick accent all the time when he's in the States now and thats how it improved.

No one on that show has a convincing Spartan accent.

Irish accents are always mangled on US TV. Most recent example I can think of was Sons of Anarchy who had IRA members in every series yet had the worst set of accents. Heroes was another one, where they ended up in Cork and had accents that if they were for a nation with darker skinned people would be considered

Thats a great point. Plus the UK makes quality teen dramas like Grange Hill and Biker Grove that actually give teenagers the parts of teenagers. Same goes for teens in British soaps and dramas. That means by adulthood they are far more experienced as professional screen actors.

Andrew Lincoln would never have been given the American equivalent of his break out role as Egg on This Life because he isn't handsome enough. Therefore he had to learn his craft and got the job on ability. A lot of young American actors, both male and female, are trading on their looks. That is not nearly as

I've been thinking a Maggie death is coming for a few episodes but with Merle dead I think piling grief like that onto Glen, Hershel and Beth this soon is a step too far.

@avclub-ef062084a1c4a3584af1d4f8e514ea50:disqus Thats exactly it. And they've been laying the ground work ever since Merle joined the jail for anyone who actually wants to pay attention to the show.

"Rick, it seems, has changed his mind once again—conveniently off-screen, of course" What? That was quite clearly on screen. Unless you need some narration to spell things out for you.

You do realise the Governor had a gun strapped to the table right? Well thats just the sort of unknown quantity that Rick would be worrying about.

The Gov is crazy. There's no show of strength or carefully thought out weighing up of whether to go to war or not. He wants Michonne, Rick, Merle and the rest dead and no logic is going to change that.

Every week I convince myself someone different wont see the end of the season. This week I was thinking Maggie.

They shouldn't ask Michonne, they should ask Merle. He knows exactly how the Gov operates and he'll set Rick straight.

Pete Townshend? I know he sings occasionally but he's a guitarist. Can't imagine there are many people who'll recognise his voice.

Sydney Bristow

I'm pretty sure its just a lot of people thinking they're funny but in fact looking kind of stupid to anyone who actually knows whats going on.

British girl bands are listened to by girls though.
