I'm Irish and always assumed it was Eoin. I can't see a Northern Irish republican family spelling it Owen, makes no sense.

The writers killed Eoin and Jimmy for the same reason, they were in opposition to Nucky (each in their own way) and killing them off was an easy resolution.

I've played a little and watched a lot of snooker and its always called a safety but thats now, a century ago it was probably different.

I feel like Boardwalk Empire does try to shock us all the time though. We all seen Eoins death coming but they still treated it as a big reveal within the show. That means they meant for it to be a big shock.

I disagree about this doing it well. When you have a predictable story it needs to focus more on character and thats where Boardwalk fails badly.

Just because someone says they're going to run away with someone else doesn't mean they have to. Maybe write some drama, nah fuckit this is Boardwalk Empire lets just kill our way out of every interesting story line.

Yes we've been lucky NBCs had enough shows with even worse ratings. So finally Outsourced proves its worth.

Whats the definition of a "truther"? Is it someone who thinks 9/11 was an inside job or someone who just doesn't think they're getting the whole truth. Because theres a whole range of shit in there going from crazy people to reasonable people.
