I recently watched the first 3 series of Weeds on Netflix, it starts ok but the horrible lows of Dexters last season were achieved around half way through series 2 of Weeds. I've never hated a protagonist more than Nancy Botwin and I watch HIMYM.

I liked that they recognised the trope so had him dodging traffic before it happened. Not the usual thing where they think they've really surprised the viewer even though we all know what happens to anyone standing in the middle of a road shouting a person on the sidewalk.
