It was clear to me.
It was clear to me.
Damn fucking straight they are!
Based on the lyrics, it seems pretty likely the song is about doing drugs and based on the repeated references to waiting for the break of day and trying not to fall asleep, it's entirely plausible it's about doing drugs at @3:30 in the morning.
Completely agree. Jeff's idea of who makes for great TV; Coach, Philip, various Hantzes, is not mine.
On the other hand, despite my issues with the show, I haven't missed an episode since maybe season 8, so I guess they're doing more right than wrong.
Unfortunately, the Survivor editors have always valued "surprise" results at tribal over anything else, including giving a full picture of game play.
It's probably my least favorite thing about the show, but 30+ seasons in, they're obviously not going to change.
Yeah, at a certain point they really latched hard onto the idea of the "blindside" and started slapping that label on all sorts of results whether it was warranted or not.
Clark Gable and Gary Cooper were stars in the 30's.
William Holden's biggest role was in 1950.
By the way, I was being sarcastic.
Also, in a beautiful moment of synchronicity, the Simpsons 138th episode special on FXX just played that exact clip as I was typing this.

I don't share their view, but I also don't expect them to change their minds at this point.
I feel the same way about Johnny Casper.

If my best friend's Canadian wife is to be believed, Newfoundland is more like the West Virginia of Canada; the go to reference any time you want to call people backward, uneducated, cousin-loving, etc…
Ninotchka Yashukova, of course.
My question is, who is paying off her student debt to HHM now?
Well, Ian was never the strongest singer and in the 20 years since his voice has just gone completely to shit.
I started watching the doc about their reunion a while back and stopped about halfway in because he just sounds so bad now I couldn't take it.
Doesn't change the fact that the debut is perfect, though.
Mersey Paradise ftw!
All great, though.
I wasn't a big fan of the column. I didn't hate it or anything, I just didn't love it.
So what I did was: I didn't read it and moved on to something that interested me without feeling the need to crap on it in comments.
Because sometimes things aren't for you and that's okay because you don't have to read them.
I wouldn't be too sure of that. I've seen him called more or less that for Idiocracy.
