Stupid sexy Flanders!

That was my wrong guess as well.

More annoying than bass drops?
More annoying than every pop song being written by the same few Swedish guys?
More annoying than Donald Trump?
More annoying than Chuck Lorre sitcoms?
More annoying than DC and Marvel event crossovers?
More annoying than '80s kids garbage movie versions?
More annoying than the grim n gritty DC

Fun fact: for many years English and Irish were enslaved all over the new world, until the religious movements of the 17th century started to suggest that maybe enslaving people wasn't exactly what Jesus would have wanted.
In response the aristocrats agreed that slavery WAS wrong, for Christians, but for heathen

Yeah, but it's all OSU Football videos.

Todd Haynes should get all the awards!
I said this, in another thread about another movie, but when I'm watching one of his movies, even when I can see the flaws, it feels like I'm watching the best movie ever. Velvet Goldmine, Far From Heaven, I'm Not There… I just really, really love Todd Haynes work.

Cut Jared Leto some slack.
He means well, he's just really stupid and entirely up his own ass.
But so pretty.

Me too.

Great comment, or the greatest comment?

Ok, you win.

This has been a sad fucking month.
I think hating The Eagles is like thinking Lemmy was god or not wearing the T-shirt of the band you’re going to see: a funny line in a movie that people have since taken as an actual thing, not as a joke.
I don’t love The Eagles but they were talented players with amazing harmonies.

I was closing in on 40 and straight, but I loved this movie and loved how gay it was. Actually, no need for the past tense. I love this movie. Watched it again last week and it's still fucking brilliant, flaws and all.
It wasn't possible for me to love Roxy Music or Grant Lee Buffalo more (is Jupiter and Teardrop the

I have seen exactly nobody claim Let's Dance was Bowie's best song.
But, hey, keep kicking that straw man's ass. It knows what it did.

The people who are squicked about the real or imagined physical aspects of gay sex should remind themselves that there are more straight people than gay having anal sex and get the fuck over it.

I referenced that article just last night. well played.

I had the same reaction to this and to Haynes' I'm Not There. I can see the flaws, but when I'm watching them, they feel like the best thing I've ever seen.

I'm seeing double here.

Oh no love! you're not alone
You're watching yourself but you're too unfair
You got your head all tangled up but if i could only
Make you care
Oh no love! you're not alone
No matter what or who you've been
No matter when or where you've seen
All the knives seem to lacerate your brain
I've had my share, I'll help you with the

You have a list that puts Toto in the middle of The Beatles, Bowie, Joy Division and Peter Gabriel and you think U2 is unexpected?
I think your idea of what's expected in that situation may be exclusive to you. Which is fine, just saying.

Yeah, but the thing I was most struck by last time I watch North By Northwest was just how much a hypocritical, judgmental dick Grant's character was to Eva Marie Saint's. Constantly hitting on her, non-stop double entendre and then disgust that she's not a virgin. He was a bit twisted in his own way.
I know, I know,
