Made in BK is pretty weak. So is the majority of Deck's solo stuff. Deck isn't exactly underrated. Most people cut him a lot of slack on his solo records just because his blazing hot verse that opens "Triumph".
U-God is probably the most underrated simply because most people seem to HATE him, and he's really not bad

Yo Mef, where my killa tape at?

Oh man, The Bride Wore Black. Seriously, that would be awesome. I'm with you there Karatloz, but I'm guessing it's like SimpleGreen says. Sometimes you gotta do stuff that will definitely sell, so you can have money to do the niche stuff. But I'm definitely with you. I'd much rather see them releasing stuff that you

I'm all for more Ford from Criterion, but please, no break from Kurosawa. Supposedly, they intend to release those couple films unique to the AK100 box set, for those of us who already owned everything that was previously available. Plus, Dersu Uzala. I need that in a version that doesn't look like garbage.

Yes, Leone's westerns may be more realistic, and I'd have to agree with you about Unforgiven (it's my favorite Western and one of my favorite films of all time), but the important thing is that Ford is the one who elevated the genre to an art form. And his films may not be dirty and realistic, but they're much dirtier

Why would Criterion have to justify issuing this film? It's not like it's the first Ford movie they've released (Young Mr. Lincoln is fantastic, by the way). And I don't think that anyone would argue against Ford's status as a wildly influential filmmaker.

Yeah, I'll admit that U-God isn't the strongest Wu, but I'm with The Pig, he's memorable. He has his place in the group dynamic, and Dopium (and the pre-Dopium mix Bring Back God) has a few solid tracks worth checking out. I'd put them relatively low on the suggested listening order for newcomers to Wu solo output,

I don't think the joke refers to simulated double penetration. I'm pretty sure he's talking about his girlfriend using a vibrator for clitoral stimulation to help achieve orgasm during sex. The joke being that she'd still want to climax even if she was being raped, and would be unable to do so without her vibrator.
Is

@Mike-

The show has its moments. It's not fantastic, but it;s usually relatively enjoyable, if you're into the whole superhero thing, that is. When Heroes is its only show-about-super-powers competition, it looks really good. And as stated above, it does sag a bit in the middle.

@FuckTheWire

Sure, Breaking Bad is an okay show, but it certainly has it's share of dull moments. Not to mention the fact that none of the characters are all that likeable, and there's hardly any character development. Plus, it tries WAY too hard to be edgy and weird. I'm so tired of that doll eyeball and the unnecessarily mute

I got Pride on the strength of "Wolves," a totally amazing song that blew me away, and was then terribly disappointed to find that the rest of the album sounded nothing like that particular song.
Maybe I'll give Phosphorescent another chance. I don't know.

Breaking Bad is okay, but it's actually kinda boring about half the time. It's much better than most of what's on TV right now, but it gets so hung up on portraying suburban ennui that it drags in places.
In The Wire and The Shield, this does not happen.

NBC seems to determined to destroy its every success.
If you could take out insurance on a TV network, I would assume the heads of NBC had developed some insurance fraud scheme.

That's exactly what I was thinking.

Eh, I'd skip it altogether. The first season seemed pretty good as it was going, by they were already squandering any good will it had before the first season was over. And it isn't like the first season ends satisfyingly enough that you can just stop and be happy. You'll likely get sucked into watching more and hate
