That, amazingly, might be the fist time anyone has used the phrase "dismembered Boolite rectum" in this entire 3 seasons worth of reviews and comments. How is that possible?

I always wonder if that was meant to be a 911 emergency dispatch reference or a September 11th, 2001 reference. Wikipedia shows the earliest air dates for these episodes as January 2002 (freaking 2002 BTW!) in the UK. I don't know much about how far in advance Farscape filmed before air date but it seems plausible

One of my favorite things about these two episodes is the continuation of Aeryn's Season Three arc.

Yet another Farscape actor that would have been great as a series lead. The limits of television injustice are unmeasurable.

And surrounding those scenes with Pilot is some uniquely beautiful CGI. The thousands of escape pods leaving the command carrier really add to the emotional weight of that whole sequence.

Those are three of the big ones for me too.

"It looked similar, all the right people were there, and all the right
parts were in the right places, but there was no depth to it."

Oh you two. You're like the two sides of my brain with your URs and your ACDs. Those might my two favorites from Season 4.

Me too.

I've only read his Farscape recaps. Farscape is my one true love when it comes to read/commenting about TV shows on the internet.

The funny thing is that I actually like a lot of what happens while they're in TORMENTED SPACE!!!!

Yeah, they're excellent. And, Dr. Livingstone, I agree about the 18 pages but I think that's mainly due to the terrible formatting of the site. Each page isn't that long. He makes some really nice observations and his episode summaries are very readable.

There's some really nice Farscape-style continuity in Fractures.

There are so many possibilities for a Scorpius/Rygel show. For some
reason I can totally imagine them in a tropical setting like those of Miami
Vice or Magnum PI. Lots of pastels. And Ferraris.

Yeah, it's Aeryn. That scene is great. I get the sense that Aeryn is doing it only for Talyn John and that Crais then steps up mostly on his own terms but also because he's following Aeryn a little bit.

SPOILERS

Oh my god I hate Tormented Space. I would love to know the backstory on how that gotten written into the show.

That's funny because I watched PKW only 1 or 2 days after Bad Timing and I HATED it.

Wait, are we saying that Crais is the first to join John's plan at the end of Fractures? I just watched it and I thought it was Aeryn.

Alasdair, I've said it before but it deserves repeating: I consider your reviews and TWOP Jacob's recaps to be the best writing I've ever seen about this show. Going to miss it while your column is on hiatus.
