So Nice
WK would be/is a great accompanist. He made this about Rodney, made him sound great, kept him on track. This much talent and selflessness are a rare combination.

Yep. That's why I've never really been able to buy her sex symbol status.

One Solo?
One?

This woman
Is close to perfect. Genuine? How often do you get this kind of genuine on tv?

Choreography?
No one mentioned this? I thought it was fantastic this week, especially Brittany getting down in her hammer pants in the library. I was also impressed how they got (almost) everyone in on "Ice Ice Baby" and just used sneaky camera to avoid lingering on the non-dancers like Puck for too long.

Cringe
This episode made me cringe. I would never do what Ted does, and being in the situations he put those skanks in is one of my worst nightmares.

Corpsing
Kaley Cuoco absolutely lost it when Parsons marched back into the dressing room in his tux saying "well there's no way it's going to top this" or whatever. This, and the expression on Simon Helberg's face when he was explaining his superpower are just two of the many reasons I still love this show.

Thank you for the spelling. I knew what the terms meant, I've taken ballet. Made the joke funnier. I just didn't want to waste time looking them up in the First place.

AND Neil looking very uncomfortable and embarassed that someone was breaking into song. The irony, the irony.

Raj
Was absolutely on fire this episode. "Pleay…and relevey" (sp).
And the aforementioned Shiksa bit.

Ted
Was anyone else surprised at Josh Radnor's very pleasant baritone? I mean, the melody didn't take any risks, and there weren't any acrobatics like the Suit song, but I really enjoyed the song, just on its (and his) merits. There was a little studio trickery, but it sounded like mostly him.

YAY
It's been mentioned elsewhere, but I was shocked by how the cutaway shots during the "black" films were all to black actors. Tacky.

Whatever, I live in Little Rock and have been saying that for years. I think it can be shared equally by those of us in the bottom 10%. And I know where we are on the map. We're the square one, right?

Least essential comment of the decade, on the least essential comment thread of the decade. Ouch, that must hurt.

I believe it's actually "deedle-deedleLEY-DEE"

Funny Write up
But I'm not understanding the Frusciante hate. I haven't listened to Empyrean, so it may very well suck, but were you just really reaching for a barbed title to critique it under? RHCP were nothing when he wasn't there (excepting the Hillel years, of course). He has basically written, composed,

I may have gasped. Several times.

Spares
There were a couple things that really made me catch my breath tonight:

Out
Standing.

I need to make a sandwich
but I'm out of bread.
