I went to a catholic school and in 7th Grade, at the beginning of our Religion class someone would have to get up to the podium and read a prayer and bible verse. I got up and started reading the prayer and everyone burst out laughing. The teacher told them to quiet down and I finished the prayer and moved on to the

Mexicans do the jobs that other minorities won't do: like working with Jews.

I know. This news makes me worry a bit that this movie might be as Islamaphobic as Argo was.

Bernal is a great actor and all but he couldn't find an Iranian actor?

I want to Kickstart a project called "I Told You So".

Say more, cause no, it's not.

But it's not like he's holding a gun to their head, is it? So who cares if Joe Badwithmoney wants to give the guy 30 bucks?

I think there have been two Jason Manzoukas and Andy Daly sequels and I believe they get better each time.

Trophy Wife is basically that Julia Roberts movie, Stepmom. You'll sympathize with Ackerman but eventually Harden will get cancer and they'll join forces.

“felt it played too much like a geeky Syfy show and not enough like a big broadcast network show.”

Actually the judgeship is the reason why I don't see the next season taking place completely at the wedding. It's the reason Marshall and Lily won't move to Rome and everything will reset after the hour-long wedding premiere, plus one mother.

Oh, man. I was really looking forward to this, but it was probably too expensive to be picked up.

As a Mexican, I am contractually obligated to love Cuaron (also applies to Del Toro and it means I have to tolerate Inarritu) but I also love the space program so I am extremely excited for this movie.

Season 3 of Mad Men Parallels Thread:
Tasha = Don
Rabin = Roger
Phipps = Cooper
Koski = Peggy
Tobias = ???
O'Neal = Cosgrove

I know it's a terrible comparison to make based on quality, but, when Phipps left, my first thought was, "Is this a G4-style thing?"  Tobias and Tasha pretty much confirm it.
All hail the Esquire Club.

In one sense, you could say he's making fun of Zach Braff for taking advantage of his fans.
But I think it's actually subtly making fun of the people complaining about Braff's kickstarter. Like this absurd scenario is the scene playing out in their heads when it's nowhere near anything that would ever happen.

Zach Braff is not the hero we deserve, but he's the hero we need right now.

@avclub-23c97e9cb93576e45d2feaf00d0e8502:disqus , They only brought him back in the first of the Futurama movies that preceded the new episodes. So they weren't out of ideas but probably a bit rusty.

I have to think that THAT is what she is referring to.
