It's not like they're filming this or forcing you to watch it. I like crazy experiments like these that don't really cost anything but the actors' time. They're like thought experiments that lead to new ideas.

I think some sodas have some significance among certain crowds. Bawls, for example, carries some cachet with the nerd crowd. Mexican coke has the same for the hipster crowd (and Mexicans living in the U.S.). You could always try importing Japanese stuff to impress your friends.
