I can see why they didn't include Dear Zachary. It's more of a Grandparent's nightmare.

Actually Moon Knight reminded me what Maleev was capable of. I had completely forgotten that he could draw in a much more straight forward comic book fashion. I hope he does more of that.

That's probably because of the Commissioner Gordon story which started as a backup and got some time in a couple of issues and is still in the background of this latest issue.

I picked up:

Other Comics Worth Mentioning
Amazing Spider-Man #659 - In the latest Amazing Spider-Man arc, Dan Slott takes advantage of Spider-Man's new team to tell a great, simple Fantastic Four-style story. It has the weird sci-fi concepts and sense of fun that hasn't been in ASM lately. Unfortunately, this arc doesn't give

The Theme Song to Barney

Ripper
The worst part of Giles being gone in Season 6 is that we were constantly told that there was a reason behind it. At some point there was supposed to be a miniseries starring Giles about his adventures in England. It sounded so awesome that we didn't mind his absence too much but, alas, it never happened.

Other Comics that have come out in the last few weeks.
Despite being skeptical, I have begun to really enjoy the "Age of X" event that is going on in the New Mutants and X-Men:Legends. I've been enjoying it more than anything Gillen has done in the flagship Uncanny X-Men title.

"I'm gonna haul ass to lollapalooza!"
So the plot of the movie is exactly the same as the first one? Is there going to be a point where they turn to the camera and say "Here we go again!"?

In fact, if I'm not mistaken, Sex and the City 2 came FROM New York.

Defining The Silver Age
So what defines a Silver Age book exactly (besides the dates they were published). Is it the colors? Cause that type of simple art lasted until the mid 1980s.

Doug Loves Movies Audio Issues
Did the DLM Podcast fix the audio issues on that episode? When I first started listening to it last Friday and when I tried it on the website a couple of days later I couldn't really hear anything? Was that fixed?

(SPOILERS)

Debt sounds right and fits with the theme of the episode.

It seems to me that what they are doing is that if something is put out by Marvel, DC or a subsidiary (e.g. Vertigo) they are covered in the mainstream section.

"Symbolic function rather than narrative one"
"(In ways I'll get back to in a moment)"

The cliche-ness of the serial shoplifter
Now, I'm not an English major, so I am not often paying attention to stuff like this, but I always feel proud when I notice it. At what point did a person (usually a teenager) being a shoplifter become cliche?

I hate that I have to defend Kim Kardashian…
but, as a guy whose been to one too many crappy community theater productions with "audience participation", if he was dragging people on the stage (regardless of unearned celebrity status) and then berating them for not wanting to dance to his crappy music, then he's the

Joker vs. Lex Luthor in Action Comics
For anyone who reads comics, how awesome was the Joker/Lex Luthor face off in last week's Action Comics? My favorite part was when Luthor was threatening him and telling him that everyone would thank him for killing The Joker, but The Joker replies with "The Bat would come after

Scarlet Witch might be back and shacking up with Doctor Doom.
