Kaboom!…?
Flip-flopping between saying that Kaboom is not a real charity on the show to saying that Kaboom IS a real charity in real life probably was not the best way to get donors. Also not helpful, the CEO of KaBOOM! is named Darell Hammond…no not that one.

You may be right about the marginal utility of money but the price doesn't necessarily have to be monetary. Maybe, if you were to find something Bill Gates wants bad enough, you could convince him to inject Malaria into a poor African child.

The Whore Line

Mediocre episode surprisingly saved by Wolowitz and Wheaton
I really disliked this episode for the first 20 minutes. I'm pretty tired of the Wolowitz is a creepy loser who can't attract women episodes so up through the car ride I was just really bored and disappointed. Also, while the side plot with Sheldon and Raj

Thomas Jane makes more sense than Andy Richter who, while he was alluding to his crappy fox sitcom, wasn't really playing himself.

I know I'm late with this but I just caught up with Fringe…
Yea, this was a good episode that took a sharp turn into mediocre territory.

Just Another Thing That's Jay Leno's Fault
Pretty soon all television will be infomercials. It'll be like twisted version of Demolition Man but without the delicious rat burgers.

"Why does a person need a gun while going to the movies? "

Really Koski?
You're gonna wear a t-shirt from the place that you work? You're gonna be one of those people?

Does the Tribune story not make much sense to anyone else?
It says that the police were called 20 minutes into the movie and that he was watching Zombieland but they didn't find it worthy to dig into what the hell the friend was thinking handing an angry, insane person a gun?

C at best
Yea I was extremely disappointed in this episode. I know every comedy on tv has to make their wedding wacky and different from normal weddings but by now a normal wedding would be different. Eloping just before the wedding has been done before. This time it was only combined with the not really getting

Who knew so many defensive Australians read the AV Club?
Hey Australians,

If you want to continue to be offended…

Crowded Weekend
To be fair to Invention of Lying and Whip It!, this was an extremely crowded weekend and those movies and Zombieland were really aiming for more or less the same demographic (the hipster douchebags if you will).

Did anybody see Eisenber on Conan last night?
His Woody Allen impression is spot on.

It kind of makes sense for Robin to be a little mad. It was obvious last week that Barney was not comfortable with Robin going out with another guy so it is conceivable for Robin to want Barney all to herself. Their interaction today, though, was not well written. I would expect Robin to be in denial of her jealous

I wouldn't compare it to Marcel in season two since Marcel actually seemed to have some talent while still being hated. On the other hand, that these people seemed to be standing up for Matin was inexplicable since Matin has been sucking it up for the past couple of weeks.

I don't think he meant that all mid westerners wouldn't know good music but that music might take longer to be popular as we get towards the middle of the country. Which is true in my experience. Unless I'm wrong and EVERYONE you knew in your town was into those bands IMMEDIATELY.

Never Read Ellroy
Which of his books would be a good entry point?
