The worst job ever…
Something that I have found strange is that I have been unable to find a good comedy about telemarketers. I have worked three telemarketing jobs while trying to graduate from college and that profession seems like it has great potential for someone to satirize.

i was wondering if you guys were going to write about this show…
and I'm glad you guys did. I find this show to be the funniest and smartest animated comedy on tv. I really enjoyed this episode but I expected more seeing as we've been waiting two years for it.

Who is she and why should I care?

On Martin Lawrence
I don't understand how he can say that he doesn't make fun of Martin Lawrence on 30 Rock. Isn't his character known for a movie where he is in a dress AND turns into a dog? Sure he might be making fun of Hollywood's need to put black men in dresses in general but also Martin Lawrence specifically.

South Park
Has there been much talk about South Park in the A.V. Club before? I just realized that I had no idea what the general comenter consensus was on South Park.

I know this is where I am supposed to say that I loved or hated the show…
which I loved by the way, but I was left wondering, does something die each time he creates the fresh berries from dead ones? When he brought his dog back a squirrel died, maybe somewhere there is a poor farmer that is losing a lot of crop

i am also going to watch next episode…
because if anything this is the new series with the most potential behind its premise besides Pushing Daisies.

Tony Scott
Just FYI, Tony Scott is directing an episode of Numbers which is the show he and his brother produced.

Its okay to be shocked sometimes…
When its a movie that is wedged deep in my memories of childhood its surprising when a person tells me that he has never seen it. I had a friend who at 25 last year had never seen any of the Indiana Jones movies. I was equally shocked to learn that he had not seen the Star Wars

The O.C.
In my biased opinion they should have let Oliver kill Marissa at the end of season 1. As one of the few people who watched the entire series (especially embarrassing since I am a guy) I recall it being Marissa that made The O.C. such a pain to watch each week. To watch her become a

It HAS to be comedic
Think about it. The Green Hornet is a super hero but his sidekick does all the work. I mean when the show aired in Hong Kong, it was called The Kato Show.

Uwe Boll
Makes worse movies than Kevin Smith for no other reason than to make money and actually is a douchebag.

Pacific
Is this from experience? Some kind of special knowledge? You can't throw out a blanket statement like that and say you won't budge unless you know something.

My Bad
"Also, extremely wealthy people SHOULD give money to those less fortunate, but that doesn't mean that the government should take it away. There are lots of things that people SHOULD do that shouldn't be legislated. Commies."

Utz
"If you are a teacher in the DC area and you consider yourself poor, then you either don't understand what poor is (which I doubt, since you are a teacher in the DC area), you are lying, or someone needs to show you how to balance a checkbook. "

Its not a matter of rich vs poor.
Interesting how this conversation turned into the direction that Micheal Moore warns about in his movie.

Devil's Advocate
"Sure, I understand that some people can't afford it…"

Running out of things to hate on?
Zach Braff just made another blog post where he claims not to be the asshole everyone says he is.

Dying is easy…
Interesting that most of the movies mentioned in the article are comedies. Wheres the hate for the makers of self-important wordy junk? If given the choice between watching one of the Wayans Brothers comedies or watching some crappy remake of a Korean family drama released by "indie" studios like Fox

Doubtful
Something tells me Viacom would never let that happen. It seems like Stewart is being groomed for whenever Letterman retires.
