Good call on that one. The earthbending one does have the tunnels though… I also realized on a second viewing that the lion turtles said that they weren't going to give the power of the elements to humans anymore. Which makes me think that the power was lost to many of them and was remastered without being bestowed

My biggest question with this episode is how the other pre-avatar mythology fits in with the lion turtle construct. We know that people learned bending from specific sources (bison, badgermoles, dragons, Moon and Ocean) so how does the lion turtle bestowing the power fit in.
