"A number of miles" I think it was!

I could be mistaken but I think the expression is "a skinny Minnie," not "mini."

In everyone's lists here of good McCartney albums, so far no one has mentioned "Flowers in the Dirt" which IMO deserves a spot near the top of the list.  ("Back to the Egg" is fantastic too for my money.)

Thirteen bucks a month, come on, pony it up, when you explore I'll bet you'll find there are other music stations that grab you too, they have deep interesting playlists in just about every genre or era you can think of with no commercials.  (I mentioned UG as being maybe my top-favorite but there are tons of other

Underground Garage is my favorite music station on satellite radio, and satellite radio is one of my favorite things in the world and has changed my life for the way-better the last five years or so.  So although I never thought about it that much, SVZ has added a lot to my life and I guess I dig him.  (Just a casual,

Just don't get married.  When I was, I missed lots of shows that I really wanted to see, some of whom featured acts it turned out I wouldn't get another chance to see again.  Before I got married and since I've gotten divorced, I've gone to pretty much all the concerts I felt like going to! No longer have to get

Unless I've had it wrong my whole life, which is entirely possible, the line is "quite rightly."

Having said that, holy geez is he fat.

Okay, the article title doesn't really make sense, or it's sort of a tautology.  The idea that people had already stopped having the debate, is sort of already wrapped up in the statement that Shatner's revived it.  Would make no sense at all to say that he revived a debate that people were already still having.

As always with this show, IMO this review is way off the mark - namely this episode like all of them was hilarious.  The extended sequence between Kudrow and Steven Weber just had me laughing throughout, it had to be the funniest thing he's ever done and he really shone acting-wise as his emotional tenor fluctuated

If everyone can talk about whether or not and how many times they've seen the Stones, so can I.  Every tour starting with Some Girls, *except* Steel Wheels, I missed that one; some tours I saw two dates on (Bridges to Babylon and I think Bigger Bang).  I guess 'coz I'm a fan and kind of old myself.  I also think that

IT'S TWUE, IT'S TWUE!

*The* Sam Roberts?
Is this the same Sam Roberts who does an XM radio show in between Opie & Anthony and Ron & Fez? (I'm guessing no.)

Tina Fey's 30 Rock character is an intelligent comedy writer with a wicked dry sense of humor (not unlike Tina Fey herself). A great many of the things the character says are intended and known, by the character (Lemon!) to be funny (to put it for the layman, they're jokes, or "wisecracks"), so it makes sense that

My "underrated" choice is Sweet and Lowdown, l loved that one. Agree of course with Arundel about the abundance of classic hilarious gags in "Take the Money," how about when he played cello in the school marching band, that is timeless.

I'm with some of you guys who love almost all of Woody's films. I think the writer made fine choices by starting with Annie Hall and Hannah and Her Sisters, two of his very best, but to represent his "early laughers" I think he would have given Woody a fairer hearing and himself more enjoyment by going with "Sleeper"

Oh yeah I'd heard some of the material before - a lot of the bits get played pretty regularly on Rawdog and I've heard them for years before as well. Looks like we got oursevves a reader!

the beat goes on
….so yesterday I'm listening to Opie and Anthony, and they had on as guests the two guys who made this documentary, and while I'm listening I'm anticipating the very predictable, same-every-time debate about Hicks here in the AVClub comments, when the movie is reviewed. Anyway it put me in the mind

I got the book
(no idea if I have the silver or not)….anyway I'm saving it to read on the plane and the beach on a little FLorida vacation later month….the main point is, I love Keith Richards, and love the Stones. I liked seeing some love for some of their generally less-praised 70's albums, personally from that era

I don't think that quite qualifies as an SA2SQ. It's really more of just a silly joke, doesn't so much skewer the obviouness/stupidity of the question and its asker. A snappy would have to be more like -
