I understand the impulse to mention Parenthood alongside This is Us, but no. This show is nowhere near as good, or emotionally impactful, or real as Parenthood.
In spite of my enjoyment of the show, I'm starting to wonder whether these characters, seen at a slightly different angle (one without the show's melodramatic,

SO ON POINT

Who knew Riz Ahmed would make such a dreamy manic pixie dream boy!

Totino's was easily the funniest sketch of the night - had me howling. "What about my hungry guys…"

My money is on Betty's mother

This is immediately filling the Carrie Diaries-shaped hole in my life.

I guess I'm glad that if Carrie had to bounce almost immediately, she spent her time giving the B-52s a shout out

Was I the only one waiting for the car to crash or William to keel over while driving? Alternatively, I kept wondering if we'll find out William isn't sick or he had a miraculous recovery like Lucious on Empire

It is Natasha Lyonne, who is also Fred's long-time girlfriend in real life.

Claire Danes in every comedy, please. Also, I am not too familiar with Run the Jewels and I definitely thought El-P was James Murphy!

Classic Lena

Sooooo I guess this is just a straight up dark drama now?

What a terrible episode. This show turned out to be like a Lars von Trier movie without the humor or absurdity.
There are so many holes in the writing. Frances would never get pulled over by a police officer for taking the kids on a ski trip because they're still fully legally married - they haven't even entered into
