Well, I don't remember you being there. I thought it was just the two of us.

William Castle's Twilight: Breaking Dawn

It wasn't because she had a baby, it was because she couldn't conceive of doing otherwise. Seth Rogan couldn't even bring himself to say "abortion," if you recall. That's the conservative American value system at work.

Looks as though there's more than one white gorilla movie out there. I recalled that our good and great friend Burl had reviewed one on his blog, and I was right, but it was a different one:

Truth is I was doing other stuff during my happy college years as well, but the way that sentence I quoted reads, it seems as though the natural result of being in college is not seeing any Mystery Science Theatre, and I suspect there are many thousands of collegians who would beg to differ.

Oh, me too. Great movie, and it looks absolutely amazing too.

Even Isadora Duncan: The Biggest Dancer In All The World?

The only thing wrong with Gothic is the unbelievably inapt score by Thomas Dolby, though it does have that great theme song.

Digression: I don't think that qualifies as a spoiler. I don't believe it spoils any narrative twists, or even has anything remotely to do with the story besides being A Ken Russell Moment.

Now we know what really killed Ken Russell. Man, I'd like to show Altered States to those Twilight hacks and see what happens to them.

"Because I was in college during Mystery Science Theater 3000’s breakout years, I never saw much of it"

I remember thinking it seemed unlikely to be anything a guy like Lance Guest could ever master, but maybe you're right. Substitute that for the video game that electrocutes you from Never Say Never Again.

Is that the same as Battleshits?

I guess along with the MAD Magazine games, fictitious video games like The Last Starfighter and The Bishop of Battle don't count either.

I'm very glad you asked about Orca. Richard Harris, Charlotte Rampling (in a skintight diving suit), Will Sampson, Keenan Wynn and Bo Derek all in the same movie, with a great Ennio Morricone score. Not a good movie exactly, but a compelling one.

Where's Three-Cornered Pitney??? The greatest game there is.

Actual movie. There's a scene where Hurt takes a big stinky dump and then Parker, who's staying in the same rooming house and on whom Hurt has a massive crush of course, is next in line for the bathroom, and he's mortified but can do nothing about it.

Understood, Gonzales, but I still say that Gunless alone eclipses and eliminates any virtues Gross might have.

The body double was pregnant? Not according to the guy who wrote the liner notes to the soundtrack album, and of course he should know. He claims the double was on her period and there were specks of blood all over the place when she was done her dance.
