I busted out laughing at the end of the cold open. First time The Office has elicited that response from me this season.

I meant the premise. I'm pretty apathetic about Deschanel as an actress, and there are enough "20-somethings' problems" shows to last a lifetime. I just really didn't expect it to be as funny and relatively fresh-feeling as it is.
I love that they didn't overplay it. They could have easily stretched it out and ruined the joke, but it was perfectly timed.
Why, oh why do I like this show so much?!? It should not be as good as it is!
Absolutely agree about Cobie. Even the closing of the episode, her face when Ted professed his love- half second moment that was beautifully executed.
i loved that half second moment after liz hung up on jack and he tossed the phone onto the couch.
Camelot!
She did, at certain angles. All about the eyebrows.
This is my first time watching this show, and I really enjoyed it. I appreciate that it showed two men kissing in a way Modern Family hasn't seemed to be able to, and it made me laugh consistently throughout. New fan.
I'm a chicken
Personally, I'm glad they included Luke in the sister fighting: he's their younger brother, it makes sense that he would have feelings about it, and it also makes sense that he would be victim to their bonding.
I quite enjoyed Ted's callback to being a kicker.
Whenever they do these House gets interrogated about his behavior episodes, they're always so dark. Where is the indoor lighting??
