What really stuck in my craw about it is that allegedly Tom Stoppard did a script polish on the thing at the behest of Lucas. Tom Stoppard! helped craft that garbage. But in fairness, the exchange was the most nuanced conversation on the nature of good and evil in the entire franchise (read none of it is nuanced).
