It was the other way around. The actor wanted out and they decided to send him out with a bang.

For a second there, I was pissed on Rachel's behalf after that kiss-ass remark. She seemed hurt by it too. Luckily, Raylan remembered he can be an unprovoked asshole sometimes and fixed it. That little part of that exchange felt completely realistic. I have to remind myself not to be an asshole all the time.

So why did Danny run Allison off the road? Are they just making sure everybody understands that he's batshit crazy or was there more to it that I missed?

What are you talking about? It's just minor cosmetic damage.
As he's yelling about his dream, I was struck by how flat-out sad it is that Dewey had no aspirations for himself beyond a do-it-yourself above-ground pool kit from Walmart. And Dewey Crowe has broken my heart into a million little pieces again. Damon

The criminal element usually gets most of the great hair love around here (from myself included) but I've gotta say Raylan's hair looked fantastic during Allison's I think you set the fire speech.

I'm actually interested to see what headphone lawyer can do. I'm not sure he's said more than two words before tonight, and this might be wishful thinking on my part, but I believed him when he told Ava he's a good lawyer and can help her.

It's from a different album, but I absolutely love Set Fire to the Third Bar in all its twitchy glory.

And, while we're on the subject, why was the giant can of pudding still there to be had in the first place? Someone had clearly plundered that kitchen before, and I can't imagine Carl would be the only person who'd be thrilled to find it.

I was expecting a through-the-peephole shot showing a close up of the empty pudding can. But I like your idea better.

I'm with you on the nitpicking. I wanted to know how he got he can open.

I haven't yelled for a character's death that loudly since Andrea. Which actually wasn't all that long ago so I just shot my whole point in the foot. But still. Nothing would have made me happier than seeing that little shit getting his face eaten, hat and all. The only thing more annoying than Carl is that fucking

Glad to hear I'm not the only one. All I kept thinking is that their clothes – especially Rick's given his physical condition — have got to be some kind of infection waiting to happen. And Carl had better still be down a shoe next time we see him.

Aw shucks! I'm blushing.

That's about as close as Raylan can get to coming out and admitting what Art already knows without becoming a defendant himself. And, as someone else mentioned below, even saying that much was kind of a dick move on Raylan's part. I suspect Art has kept mum about what he'd pieced together because he didn't want to

I just can't do it. I know enough about him to know I know enough.

It was Gatlinburg I think. Maybe Pigeon Forge.

Not for a second. I'm not even convinced that Vasquez buys it.

What I like about Tudyk is that he has the ability to make his body fit the character without adding/dropping a ton of weight. Even though I know it's the same dude, Alpha always seems so much bigger physically than Wash ever did. He's a much more talented actor than he gets credit for being.

Note that I said wanted. Not expected. A girl can dream.

I'm guessing not given that he tried to rape her in the first place. He's likely figured it out by now, but he's a dude with short man's disease who's not about to do the smart thing and let it alone.
