Wouldn't you if you could?

Good point, but if they had gone that route I could see accusations of the flesh all of a sudden being the magical answer to everything. Personally, I would have preferred a flesh Doctor because of all the reasons you've listed. After all that time it would have felt earned to me, although I could see others arguing

Icky was the wrong word to use, it was just the best I could come up with at the time. That's what I get for trying to keep it short, I guess. Now, hours later, I'm still not entirely sure what the right word is. My problem with my (hopefully very wrong) idea has nothing to do with the general idea of grandparents

Post deleted because I'm a sleep deprived idiot at the moment.

That's how I took it too. And I didn't get the impression that it's all that imminent. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking. I'm not looking forward to losing Matt Smith.

So, I've just had a really dumb idea, but I can't shake it. I'm hoping somebody here can talk me down. I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.

I think The Doctor should spend some of his off-the-grid time getting some therapy. I'm not somsure the Dream Lord ever really left.

I really like that idea. It could mean that all the 'clues' I thought I'd found along the way this season might turn out to be something after all, rather than examples of my obsessive overthinking.

I wonder if the Silents are powerful enough to erase his memory of Cleopatra's nice knobs.

I'd watch that. But what I want to know is if The Doctor lied when he said he told River his name, then what did River say in the library to convince The Doctor to trust her? It's been a while since I've watched the library episodes, but didn't 10 explicitly say that River knew his name and there was only one time

I took it to mean that her drawing was much more conventionally handsome than Rory actually is. Amy asks the Doctor if she really loves Rory and after seeing her drawing his response is something along the lines of "Evidentially."

If I'm remembering right, there was an announcement on Amy's train about sunspots but it was kinda buried under Amy and the Doctor's conversation. Might have come up again in a quick mention later too, but I'm not sure.

Anybody else think The Doctor looked more than a little Jesus-ish during his conversation with Churchill? I'm not sure how much of this idea was tied to the repeated reminders that the Silence are a religious order, but once it occurred to me I couldn't unsee it.

Your point is well taken, I've been looping the episodes on NBC's site all day. Still, i can't shake the feeling that we're tempting fate a little bit. But nevermind me. I'm just a superstitious freak who's still bitter about Terriers.

For much of the season, my money was on a flesh double. But since we had an Amy ganger, going back to that well again would have been lazy.

Are we meant to infer that The Doctor's "farewell tour" and his visit to Craig last week account for the 200-year age difference created in the Impossible Astronaut? Amy asked the Doctor tonight why he aged when it's always the same time and date, but I don't recall his answer containing a number. Or, are those

Yeah, I kinda felt the same way. The Big Bang blew my mind, especially the reveal of all the breadcrumbs sprinkled throughout the season that I'd missed the first time through. So much so that I scoured every episode this time around looking for clues. I was absolutely convinced that the tux The Doctor wears in Let's

Exactly my point. I get that they needed cast recent high school grads in the group. To leave out the youngest members of the group would have strained credulity. And I really can't think of anyone who'd make a better Annie than Brie but I think they've kinda written themselves into a corner a little bit. McHale and

Shirley's habit of over-enunciating is something I've smiled at in the past, but the way she said fart tonight is my favorite Shirley moment ever.

My interest was piqued by Spanish 101. By the time Physical Education rolled around I knew I was in for the (hopefully six seasons and a movie) long haul.
