I'm terrible at picking favorites. In no particular order:

I hate that term too, so I came up with a new one to describe the kind of walking talking strawmen that conservatives think exist in high numbers:

His dad is loaded, he should easily be able to obtain one now

I gave in and watched this one early. I found the reddit dedicated to SU leaks amusing, because the opinion on this episode was split 50/50 between "Gah, more filler, boo" and "I'm sorry, is emotional catharsis and a natural step in Steven's season long arc of trying to figure out his deal with Rose not exciting

Damn, dat Navey is a stone cold bitch.

Do it.

I love that Charlie dropping the n-bomb was literally just because it took him awhile to guess what word they were talking about. Classic Charles.

I feel like I'd be much better at making SU conspiracy theories if I knew gemology, but that seems like a lot of work. I am constantly wondering how many gem/crystal based references and in-jokes I'm missing.

Finally got to hear Yellow Diamond sing! That's exciting.

Truth nugget.

I'm actually surprised by how tame the Choosening was as the big dystopian twist. I've been waiting to watch this episodes until this week, by youtube keeps spoiling little bits for me, and I've had "The Zoo- Full Episode" with a still frame of the smiling Zoo-mans in my face for a month now. I was assuming the big

That's fair… but you gotta start 'em somewhere, right? Never too young to instill deep-seated fears of authority and societal collapse.

And today in Gem Heist Michaela Dietz sounded just like our Amethyst doing Jasper impersonations when she voiced the Zoo's Amethysts.

Well never mind then, good catches.

Oh, I know, but the way BD was talking about it it sounds like she (and presumably the other Diamonds) have no reason to think it's not still going to blow any moment now.

Once you go Greg, he's the only thing for which you'll beg.

I mean, I can't get enough of Lapis and Peridot, so yes. All the yes please.

Oooh, we finally get some fake science mumbo jumbo to explore the whole "bodies of light" thing. As a science teacher I'll always appreciate it when art tries to incorporate science… even when it often fails, it's the thought that counts

The highlight of the episode for me was the panicked, awkward smirk Sapphire gave during the: "Pearl: “Is this really going to work?” Sapphire: “No.”" exchange. Ahh, life with future vision must be so frustrating.
